Trane heat pump with air handler installed in 2020. No drain. Protection is present. Highly suggest adding a drain switch and rebuilding the secondary drain to include a p trap. Ecm blower motor is acceptable. Blower wheel is clean. Evaporator coil has some slight buildup starting to form. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Outdoor unit was washed and waxed. Customer declined repairs at this time.
Upon arrival, technician talks to homeowner and started at the package unit.Technician found that the U v light was out and recommended Upgrading to a Iaq 300 Is technician also noticed that there was no surge protection Technician installed Iaq 300 and surge pro Technician major unit was working properly before leaving
Today we did a level 2 duct cleaning with uvbulb and ozone system
On arrival I found that one duct had a piece of tape covering the vent not allowing air flow Crawled underneath home to make sure no duct leaks while doing so I found one small one and fixed. System is on and operating efficiently

Super tune up performed today on a 2 year old Amana heat pump with air handler installed customer did no have a filter. She is ordering a filter and will hopefully have it by Monday when we are returning for a duct cleaning and installing a UV 300. All electrical connected tight with no corrosion. Comfort advisor is scheduled to meet with the customer tomorrow morning about adding some panels and a battery bank to her existing solar system. Duct cleaning and UV 300 install are set for the morning of the 27th. Customer attempted to pay the entire balance however the bank kept declining due to security. The customer will contact her bank to let them know a large payment will be taken
Upon arrival tech talked to customer. Tech had gotten all his reading and notice that the drain was clogged as well as a lot of biological growth in the blower motor. The inrush amps came in at 119. As well as the uv light was not working properly. Tech talk to customer and suggested a compressor saver as well as a new uv light as well as a blower cleaning and drain clear

Heat strips are pulling proper amperage. Refrigerant levels are in range. Dual run capacitor is within spec. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Drain switch is highly recommended.
Upon arrival system was on and running, compressor was running loud. Found blower cab did not have cover so air was bypassing Evaporator coil. Added cardboard as temporary cover to increase airflow through coil. Refrigerant levels were shower that system was possibly over charged. Electrical bills were high due to Straight electric and heat kit running. Left system in cool mode.
During inspection I found heat strips Amp draws high, blower wheel Amp draws high Coil dirty choking down airflow, resulting in compressor failing Adjusted choked up duct work underneath home Located leak in line set and coil Contactor on Airhandler had lots of pitting and welding marks Cust explained to me they had a change in their electricity bills this month Ca scheduled
Arrived reset GFCI
