Tech Cody arrived to customer's home and met the homeowners. I ran tune upstairs on two mini splits and the furnace on the main house. BARN HOUSE: Mini split filters clean, evaporator coil clean, blower wheel has minimal dust buildup. Compressor and fan motor were operating within manufacturer range, I washed and waxed the unit, refrigeratant charge acceptable at this time. STUDIO: Customer expressed concerns about the studio mini split not putting out cold air. I found that the outdoor unit was extremely dirty and was not getting airflow across the coil, I washed and waxed the unit. Compressor and fan motor were operating within manufacturer range. The refrigerant charge was within acceptable levels at this time. The indoor filters were clean, the evaporator coils were clean. The blowers had some dust buildup. I also noticed that the remote seemed to be operating unusually, the homeowner said he noticed the same issue and had ordered a new remote. MAIN HOUSE: Filter needs replace

I started with the unit for the right side of the house. INDOORS:The system had a 17 degree temperature split, the filter was replaced, drain line clear with float switch installed, the blower was clean, the blower motor was in good condition, heat strips functioned within range, and the coil was clean. Arrived and replaced existing Condenser fan motor with new fan motor. Wired fan to control board, ran system check and found no issues system is operating as should at this time
While inspecting system I found that there was a long list of hps activations. While inspecting the outdoor I found that the variable speed condenser fan motor was not operating causing the hps activation Need to order condenser fan motor for downstairs system Model: ASZC706010AA Serial: 2304234816
Emailed estimate for repairs Customer does nit understand why his labor warranty is no longer available Does not agree with price of board replacement Wants a manager
Upon arrival I found that the outdoor control board had failed. Need to order control board for downstairs condenser System is down Holding for parts
Ran new communicating wires from the head in the bedroom the condenser. Multiple breaks in the wire were causing a communication error to the head. Control board has been fixed and system is running as it should at the time of departure. Was unable to make contact with the customer at the time of completing the job. Technician is not sure what card on file the customer wants to charge the job to. Holding for payment to be collected.

2010 2t hp attic horizontal. System down upon arrival. Young man who was home is the grandson to a CSR Katie Cathey. He informed me that the system has been freezing and was instructed by an uncle to charge the system, still frozen and then charged to shut the system off. Diagnosis- Disconnect pullout is broken and pliers are needed. Vapor line needs insulation. I turned the system on and monitored the performance. Hooked guages up and read refrigerant pressures. Subcooling was incredibly high. Liquid line pressure was incredibly high. Compressor would cut on and off until total shutdown. I pulled the disconnect and the condenser fan top off and washed the coils thoroughly from the inside out. Lots of foliage around unit that should be cut away. Tested inrush Amp current on startup. Tested the dual run capacitor - complete failure on compressor side. The compressor would start up due to the start capacitor but would not run properly while the pressure was increasing and a fail
Downstairs 2022 Lennox 5T hp (Allied air airhandler). Upstairs 2003 Trane 2T hp original. Greeted homeowner and while getting a tour of the home we spoke about my visit and the home call expectations. Homeowner told me upfront that he obtains the report from us knowing that we're very thorough and allows his home warranty to do the work; he takes pride in being successful at doing so. I aquested to the request of a full report on both systems and the performance therof. Performance evaluation discovered - 2003 trane - Upstairs indoor unit - Filter replaced. Secondary drain line is not connected. No 120v saftey disconnect switch available. Blower capacitor is within manufacturers tolerance. Wheel has minimal buildup. Evaporator coil - heavy rust detected, performed a courtesy leak detection and r22 refrigerant molecules. DeltaT - 10° Upstairs condenser unit - Washed condenser coils for a proper refrigerant read. Low voltage wires are outside of the cabin and exposed to the elem
Tech Cody arrived to customer's home and met the homeowner. I started my tune up inside, I replaced the filter, the old one was extremely dirty. The blower had dust buildup up, the coil was in dire need of cleaning and the inside of the cabinet had biological growth buildup. The temperature split at the vents was 16 degrees, and the heat strips were functioning in range. Outside I washed and waxed the coil. The compressor and fan motor were operating within manufacturer range, the capacitor was out of tolerance and the primary electrical control was in good condition. I shared my findings with the homeowner and recommended they get a level 2 duct cleaning as well as a compressor saver and replace the outdoor capacitor. The customer had to talk it over with her husband first and they are in a raffle with our company to possible win a duct cleaning this month.
I quoted a level 2 36k upflow for $10,236 after discount. Customer was pre approved for $25,000 through goodleap but was denied because she owned the home but not the land
Recall. Communication error either in the indoor PCB or in the communicating wires. While diagnosing the communicating wires the technician damaged the outdoor board. Outdoor board needs to be replaced with no charge to the customer. Part needs to be ordered and unit repaired ASAP. System is down. Also need to order 20 feet of 4 wire mini split cable.
Arrived to no cool. R-22 straight cool condenser with electric air handler installed in 2004. System is low on R-22 refrigerant. Evaporator coil very corroded and is leaking refrigerant. Compressor is amping high. Made repair estimate for customer. Comfort advisor is scheduled to meet with the customer next Tuesday the 30th in the afternoon. Customer is interested in more information on the USDA home repair grant.
LG mini split with 2 heads. Customer states that the head in the bedroom had a CH05 code meaning there is a communication error between the head and the condenser. She performed a hard reset on the system and it would run for about a minute each time before the code came back. Technician turned system on and could not make it fail. Code never came up. Tightened all connections on communication wires. Found a large wasp nest inside the condenser on top of the communication wires. Technician believes this may have been the issue. System running and cooling upon departure.
Upon arrival system was not cooling but Blower was blowing. After evaluation found Dual run cap had failed. System has P&L warranty, replaced 70/5 dual run cap System is running properly

Replaced 1" check valve at holding tank in shop Debris was caught in existing check valve causing the pump to continuously power on ***Warranty***
Installed new fill valve for holding tank, adjusted water levels down Old valve was allowing tank over fill coming out of electrical hole on tank
Install Goodman 36k hz electric use current filtration includes code kit
Upstairs Condenser was making really loud noise on startup and compressor amps would spike up. Checked charge on system and system was overcharged. Got system to correct charge and system is working properly
