Great service and the HVAC tech was extremely thorough. I wish I had gone with my usual electrician for a much better price
I recently had the pleasure of receiving my biannual checkup from a Comfort Experts technician named Daniel. I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and expertise. He demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of my system, which was also installed by Comfort Experts. Daniel went above and beyond by providing valuable advice on how to extend the lifespan of my system. I would like to request Daniel for all future checkups, as he was exceptionally thorough and patient in answering my children's numerous questions.
Alec did a great job. Very fast and efficient, but he also took the time to explain what he was doing. I appreciated how clearly he explained everything.
Did great very professional
Always a pleasure. Thorough explanation of service with pictures.
On time, knowledgeable, and personable.
Good work.
Mark was knowledgeable and willing to explain what he was doing in a way, I could understand.
The service was good. But the technician today had to do the same thing the previous technician did previously. It was the same service and it cost me hundreds of dollars again. Also this technician was able to point out an issue that then, ast technician would not even tell me about. He said I needed a plumber and that was it. So good service this time. But I will be complaining
Foe this job I came to replace the condensing coil as well as the compressor on the customers straight cool system. I removed the old coil and compressor, brazed in the new compressor first followed by the condensing coil. After doing all that I resembled the unit and pulled a vacuum and purged with nitrogen where I was able to get the system to 375 microns indicating that a vast majority of contaminants or removed from the system as well as the line set. I charge the system to a 9° sub cool in the system was producing a 21° split.
Arrived for evaluation Upon arrival indoor system functioning Outdoor compressor high jump in amperage captured at 38.7 will reach 43 amperage before shut off – compressor also has very high wear operational noise DOA Condensor compressor DOA Condensor coil – Due to integrity of coil/refrigerant quantity/quality System left off at exit
Today I showed up for an evaluation on a 9-year-old Amana system outdoor unit was not running upon arrival this was due to a failed contactor replace the contactor got the unit running verified the refrigerant levels and the temperature split there is a severely dirty filter in the unit advised changing it as soon as possible thank you for choosing Comfort Experts have a great day
Arrived onsite customer had lavatory drain backing up ran small hand auger through drain cleared stoppage.
For this cooling tune up I came out to inspect the customer's furnace evaporator coil and condenser. Overall most equipment was measuring with the manufacturer's specs and running well. The exception to that is that I found the compressor over amping on startup pulling 85 amps with a maximum amp draw of 83. I recommend it to the customer that we install a soft start kit as the soft start kit will lower the amperage by roughly 80% or a hard start kit which will lower the amp draw by 30% keeping the system within manufacturer specifications. Customers would like an electrician Thursday first call for an to look at a couple light fixtures that don't work.
For this job I performed a complimentary plumbing inspection at the residence. All fixtures we operational, water heater in good condition. They could benefit from changing out the angle stops under the kitchen sink. The stops are twist to stop, and should be converted to 1/4 turn stops. Put together estimate and sent over to customer for approval.
Replaced zone board Installed panel surge protector Recommended IAQ300 to eliminate issues and biological growth from the system
Performed evaluation Found both systems primary drain lines have water build – both enter into sink Cleared sink and water cleared from lines – tested systems with water and both released water into sink After re assembling sink and water tested – sink continued to build water showing primary build up is not in HVAC systems Systems left on cool at exit Plumber scheduled tomorrow 07/08/25
Arrived onsite customer had a sink upstairs that was backing up ran small hand auger through drain and cleared stoppage. Tested after repair was made everything working properly.
Today we showed up for a complimentary plumbing estimate. Upon arrival there were only a few issues. It is a two bath, kitchen, laundry room with a laundry sink. The water heater is outside in the garage, and is it approximately 3 years old. There hasn't been much maintenance done to it since being installed. The master bath toilet filled up slowly due to an older fill valve. Both sinks and shower drained well. The hall bath bathtub drain slowly, the toilet flushed okay, and the sink drained well. There are three hose bibs on the house the back to are in good condition, but the front hose bib with leaking . Kitchen sink drained fine. I left all recommendations inside of a estimate. Thank you for choosing comfort experts!
I have looked at his electrical set up and found three things that I would possibly change the first being that the solar is tapped in on the main not a breaker the second is maybe changing out the surge protector not just due to age but the validity of the product and third is that the gfci's for the bathrooms are reading hot and neutral reversed which should be a level one rewire, they are fixing to go on vacation and have to talk about the possibility of this work for themselves
Arrived onsite customer had 2 new lavatory faucets needing to be installed. Went ahead and installed the 2 new lavatory faucets and also replaced drain piping for one sink and replaced the shutt off valves for the other. Tested after repairs were made everything working properly.
Arrived for sure for assessment Zone board failed No surge protection Zone bypass duct is undersized and should be replaced with 14 inch duct and damper Ordering board and will do the surge protection that day Declined all other work
Found bad zone board upstairs damper was not opening due to bad board undid wire on zone damper for upstairs so damper would open need to have Zach come out mid-afternoon on Wednesday to discuss with customer about fixing ductwork and possibly replacing zone board
Performed evaluation Upon arrival system was cooling Inspected refrigerant levels – tested with adjustments Found insulation caught over indoor coil – blocking about half of coil airflow Retested refrigerant and adjust as necessary System has call for 15 SH and was adjusted to 15SH System is cooling and left on cool at exit
Arrived for service eval Dual run cap failed Replaced Motors ok. Refrigerant ok Recommended soft start kit upgrade and UVV upgrade. Declined both
Today I performed super tuneup, Refrigerant levels weregreat and found no fault in that, I also saw that capacitors wereoutoftolerancehighlyrecommend getting swapped out soon System was also overamping Recommend soft start and even hard start would be very beneficial Thank you for choosing comfort experts, hope to see you again soon, take care
Pulled toilet in hall bathroom replaced the toilet flange as rotted out. Reset toilet and tested for leaks everything working properly.
Upon arrival homeowner expressed concern over unit off and on Found primary drain line to be clogged – cleared line Condenser had a lot of build up on coil – cleared Replaced blown P&L compressor saver kit Replaced filter Recommended plumber due to sink top build up and possible home line build up – homeowner will evaluate and watch status of sink System functioning and left on cool at exit – thermostat has following schedule
On arrival system was running but had an expanded 0/0 45/5 capicator. Replaced capicator under warranty. System cooling as I left.
Performed maintenance and installed iaq 200 and compressor saver kit, please schedule duct cleaning.
On this job I serviced 2 system is looked at both heating and cooling. Both system have a 15° super heat and 9 subcool. The condensors are now clean as well as the filter. I recommend UV supply to keep the air healthy as well as easy starts.
