Heating and cooling inspection checked all components in heating and cooling recommended duct cleaning and uv system for air sterilization

I was here to change out a customer provided uv bulb. The bulb was the wrong one so I did not change it out. I Found the right one on Amazon and showed the customer will need to come back later

On arrival both furnaces ran with no issues. Looked into upstairs airflow issue and determined it to be a design flaw. Found the downstairs furnace had an out of tolerance capicator. Customer will have home warranty address this.

11/30/24 TS- sewer line has a single cleanout in front yard cast-iron. Belly right under the hall toilet that effects both toilets. Middle of house.

I was here for a super tune up changed the filter and poured white finger down drain lines blower and system very dusty the capacitor out side was out of tolerance and all the amperages are in tolerance and refrigerant In range

Today I performed a membership warranty heating tune-up found organic growth inside of the supply plenum as well as an excess amount of dust in the ductwork discussed options with the homeowner for a duct cleaning and indoor air quality UV system homeowner needs to discuss his options with his wife and give us a call back customer is also requesting that I be the same technician to return moving forward

I was here to perform a super tuneup. Poured bleach down drain line and changed out. The filter filter was very dirty. UV bulb is over a year old needs to be changed out. Customer said they’re gonna change it out. I wash the condenser and capacitor intolerance compressor saver is at 0 so I changed it out Contactor was buzzing. refrigerant in range.

House plumbing clogged HVAC line clear. System off due to tripped wet switch.

11/04/24 TS- customer declined work at current price. More then likely would have to go under the house to access drain line below floor

On arrival system running and cooling producing 20 degrees of cooling. Indoor unit was clean but there was biological growth in supply plenum. Outdoor unit in good shape but overamping on start up.

On this job I checked the heating side. The gas furnace is in tolerance no over amping by induced or blower motor. Cap reads in tolerance as well. The system could benefit from a uv light to tackle the poor air quality.

System at factory specs condenser cleaned refrigerant is in range Delta is 20

This system has a clog in the primary drian line. I explained that I would need to cut the lines at both ends clean out p traps and blow thru with C02. He has declined he is selling the house and wants to handle it him self. Not interested in memebership.

For this super tune-up I inspected the downstairs furnace and condenser. The upstairs unit was replaced by another company this summer, so the customer did not want me to perform a tuneup on it, just the downstairs system. When I started at the furnace in cooling mode I only had a 15 degree Delta from return to supply. The supply plenum has large amounts of Bio growth inside, and the blower wheel is dirty likely causing the motor to overwork. When I switched over to heating mode, the inducer motor was pulling 1.95 amps with an FLA of 1.4 amps so the motor is over amping and is likely to fail in the future. Due to the system only producing a 15° Delta I went ahead and leaked search the evaporator coil where I was getting trace hits of refrigerant, indicating a small leak is present. At the condenser when I gauged up I had a 23° superheat, and amp draws were okay however the fan was pulling 1.45 amps with an FLA of 1.5 and that motor is hitting that red line of overamping. When arrive customer had already found the pop in panels had popped out. He already replaced the panel engaging the safety switch. No repair performed.

Found both systems 21 years old. Both with degradation to the coil and undercharged r22 with both sat temps below freezing. Recommended a membership and a comfort advisor. Customer declined at this time.
