Frustrated, your team was out 3 weeks ago … and Friday our system was not Cooling …we needed over 2 pounds of coolant when three weeks earlier —- the coolant level was fine. Also, how did we get a blocked drain pipe in that same time frame and that it wasn’t found with the tune up?

Blower motor failure - replaced with psc motor and added a relay, system is functional.
Customer states that the heat pump was not running on his dual fuel system and that only the propane furnace was running. Technician turned up the thermostat 2 degrees and the heat pump came on. Performed function check in heating and auxiliary heating. All systems are operating as they should. Helped customer set a program on his thermostat. Let system run for an hour to see if the problem would present itself. Problem that the customer stated did not occur. System running and heating the home upon departure.
Install 48k gas downflow with standard thermostat
Technician started at the air handler where technician found that there was no unit surge protection, and the UV light was still working, but not effective technician just replacing UV light as well as a antimicrobial pantry and his unit surge protector there was a little buildup on primary drain. Technician did tell homeowner it’s starting to build up. Technician moved to condenser technician washed and waxed the unit technician in hand running amps on the compressor presser and fan motor are fine right now in the readings. Technician also found that there was no unit search protection on the system. Technician did advise homeowner for surges.
Submitted estimates for electrical work. Strongly advised customer that they need panel replacement. And some things corrected and tightened up. 2 estimates one for running new wires. And one for panel replacement and turning j box to a sub panel.
Someone fell in shower and broke diverter off in wall. Gave estimate to remove tile and repair copper line. Customer wants to remove tile then call us back for repair.
4000 Square foot R-11 insulation and attic tent
4.5x2 attic tent dimension. 4000sqf of r-11 insulation to be installed ONTOP of all available ducting. Joe S confirmed and scheduled for 1/17/25 first call. Systems are fully functional.

Heating tune up performed today on a Carrier gas furnace. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Furnace has drain protection but only in the emergency catch pan. Suggest adding some drain protection inline with the primary drain. Technician is unable to access the evaporator coil due to it being installed improperly. The support straps ate screwed directly into the panel door of the coil. Coil should be supported from the bottom so it can be accessed if necessary. Gas valve, burners, and igniter are all working properly. Heat exchanger is acceptable. ECM blower motor is acceptable. Customer is having air flow issues throughout the home. Duct work is very cramped and airflow maybe restricted. A comfort advisor has been suggested to properly design the duct system. Inside of the furnace is clean. Air filter was changed on this visit.
Arrived to no heat. Coleman downflow gas furnace with a straight cool Goodman condenser. Furnace control board was giving a code of 11 red flashes indicating a problem with the limit switch. All limit switches are ok. Blower motor is acceptable and is pulling appropriate amperage. Can not find reason for failure. After hard reset the system turned on and heated the home. System running on heat upon departure.
His pain was a little bit on the other side but for the most part everything is good he still has that double tapped 50 am and no cheese but he's really interested in getting those two things sorted out was curious about the voltage on it outside of which I got the names on both legs and 247 for the volts
11/25/24 TS- run 10ft hard pipe up exterior wall and over 25ft in attic and down 10ft for cook top gas line 1/2" probably run line in 3/4" to be safe. No tank on sight or cook top so BTU is unknown
Tech Cody arrived to customer's home and met the homeowner. System is a 8yo amana heat pump zoned system. The filter is clean, the coil was clean, the blower was clean, the blower motor was in good condition, I replaced the UV bulbnwith a customer supplied bulb, the heat strips were functioning within range, system had a temperature split of 18 degrees. Outside the refrigerant charge was within acceptable levels at this time. The compressor and fan motor were operating within manufacturer range, the capacitor was within tolerance, the primary electrical control was in good condition. I rinsed down the unit and waxed it. I shared my findings with the homeowner and the system was operating normally when I left.
11/15/24 TS- inside waterheater is leaking at the bottom. Helped shut it off at panel and water off so she could drain tank. She will decide later what option she wants to go with
Upstairs unit is functioning properly. Downstairs unit has major performance issues. Visual oil present in the evaporator coil. Leak detection performed and verified. Heavy biological growth present. Refrigerant levels are outside of manufacturers tolerance. Compressor working overtime. DeltaT 11° Brought homeowner to the issues found o. The Downstairs main indoor unit and explained in detail. I informed the possibility of the evaporator coil not being manufactured anymore due to the refrigerant formula change. Warranty expires in March of 2025. Downstairs main has given homeowners issues for a while. Homeowner agreed to speak with a CA 11/12/24@3p to discuss replacement. The system needs a decontamination of the indoor unit and ducting. No UV germicidal systems installed.

11/08/24 TS- customer supplied waterheater installed. T&P line was higher in wall then the new T&P valve so ran drain line into pan. Customer said they would get emergency water detection device. I reused the existing water supply lines and electrical whip.
Heating tune up performed on a Coleman heat pump with air handler installed in 2017. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. X13 blower motor is acceptable. Blower wheel and evaporator coil are clean. UV bulb was replaced on this visit. Heat strips are pulling proper amperage. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Reversing valve and defrost control board are working as they should. Outdoor unit was washed and waxed.
11/02/24 TS- waterheater is leaking and needs replaced. Customer would call back when ready with customer supplied waterheater.
