Colby was my tech and my situation was different my previous ac tech from another company took my blower motor a week ago and never came back to fix it replace it. So I called Comfort today and they were able to get someone out here fast, but was unable to help due to my blower not there but Colby was able to get a great price with discount and explained everything to me. Great service.
I received great service from the tech Tyler. He was diagnosed my problem. When Tyler returned to complete the repair he was on time and completed the job in a timely manner. I always receive great service from Comfort Experts.
Mike was prompt, quick to answer all questions, and did all work without unnecessary messiness or noise. He made me aware of changes or upgrades he would recommend at a level that was easy to comprehend.
Tyler was very respectful. Did a detail inspection of all faucets. Explained what needed attention. We are very happy with the job that he did. Alec Gibbs did a great job inspecting our A/C unit. He did a performance and safety testing on the unit. He cleaned the condenser and restored the system to a clean condition. Alec is very friendly and courteous and very knowledgeable. We are very happy with the job that he did.

We just had a new HVAC installed by Comfort Experts. One crew cleaned our duct work then Alex and Daniel in stalled the HVAC system. They were very professional and efficient. Near the end of the install a tiny bird flew in the open door. It flew up to my skylight. They went above and beyond to capture the tiny bird and release it safely. Kudos to Alex and Daniel!!!!

For this job I performed a evaluation. I discovered the the flame sensor was dirty and the unit would not stay on due to the dirty flame sensor. I reccomended a membership and replacement of the sensor if the issue occurs again. I cleaned the sensor and it began to run within normal limits. I instructed homeowner to try turning on the furnace periodically yearly to keep the sensor from building up dirt a d causing the same issue. Thank you for choosing comfort experts, have a great day!
For the job, I worked on a heating tune-up on this furnace system. I went through all the mechanical and electrical parts of the system and checked for maximum efficiency. I notified the customer about building her drain lines and about the dust levels in her home, however customer mentioned that she has bleach there and that she pours it down herself and that she will vacuum her return plenum to help with us levels. Showed up for a membership super tune-up checked everything indoor and outdoor changed their filter flushed the drain line with white vinegar and hot water in cooling mode I discovered they were significantly low on refrigerant so cool was only at 1.4° when I should see something between a six and a 10 and heating mode the inducer motor was producing an audible noise the entire time it was running suggesting failure could be coming soon all of the components checked out and we're working as they should current Delta is 21° I did bring it to their attention that my carbon monoxide detector was reading three parts per million we discussed the options of adding refrigerant and replacing the inducer motor we also discussed the cost of repairs the last few years and the option of full replacement they would like to have some time to think about their options I told them I would follow up with them and see if they would like to sit down with a comfort advisor
He needs the inducer disassembled and cleaned out and a new pressure switch and hose. Materials are in if he calls back so we can order what he needs.
On this job I looked at 2 system both heating and cooling. The system test in tolerance on both sides. TD 20 Superheat 17 Subcool 12 The system could use an easy start management system to reduce the high inrush amps. This with reduce it by 75% increasing longevity

Today I showed up for a plumbing diagnostic due to a water leak in the house After trying everything non-invasive that I could I discussed options with the homeowner In order to remove the dishwasher so that I could see Which direction the water is coming from it appears to be coming from the master bathroom and settling in the kitchen Removing the dishwasher Caused the Cabinetry to collapse and the sink Fall loose as well But the homeowner is completely aware Of everything as I discussed it with her before touching anything Knowing what was gonna happen by what I saw They are going to Clean out all of the stuff from the bathroom And tear up the carpet And cut open the back wall underneath the vanity So that when I return I can hopefully Get eyes on This pinhole leak quickly I am pausing this call so that I can return to look again this return appointment needs to be scheduled for Thursday October the 30th First Call
Today I performed a super tune-up for a current member checked everything indoor and outdoor and heat mode and in cool mode mechanically everything appears to be functioning as it should wash the outdoor coils changed the filter flush the drain line with white vinegar I have several concerns however they all have to do with airflow/air quality therefore I have offered the homeowner a complimentary visit with our airflow/airquality specialist Zach and while the homeowner agrees to the visit he is unsure as to his schedule and what would work for him and his wife so we will have to follow up with him or wait for him to call back currently their AC / heater is dumping air into the Attic and that coupled with the biological growth I found on the blower wheel should really be addressed as soon as possible thank you for choosing comfort experts!
During this visit I looked at both heating and cooling sides of the system. I'm happy to report that both sides test in tolerance. The td is 20°. I setting a time for a electrician and plumber to take a look at some issues there have. Leak in the garage ceiling. No voltage to outside plug and tripped breakers.

Came to job to look at lights flickering and house and came here thinking that we obviously needed a hard start but then check the panel and take power coming in and we were getting 100 volts on one leg and 141 on the other which is not a good thing so called encore and they have it set up for them to come out and talk to customer and told him to reach back out once they are done if everything is fixed or not
Came to job for lights not working in house and found a broken wire nut behind switch, customer had aleady pulled out a bunch of switches and plugs before I got there and tested a bunch of things so that helped forwards fixing the issue also talk to customer about memberships and see is new to Texas and there's only been here for 4 years and talked to him about the benefits and everything that comes with it and the customer felt he needed to just think on it but he also has neighbors that want some other work done and talk to him about getting discounts from referrals
For this job I performed an evaluation. The wire homeowner called about was a old wire that was not live by the unit. I remember the wire. The system was cooling within normal limits. For this evaluation the customer's system was not running at all. I started in the attic and checked the drain line which was clear, then I checked all the low voltage fuses which were all good except for the zone board fuse. The board had a light that said to replace when lit and it was lit. The transformer that powered the zone board was 130⁰ and the resistance on the high voltage side was at 68 ohms. I went ahead and replaced the transformer as I have ran into this problem in the past and it ended up being the transformer that was burnt up. After replacing the fuse and the transformer the system kicked on and started cooling the home with a 20⁰ split.

Today we showed up on a complimentary appointment evaluation. We previously had an AC tech out here working on their system, and he had asked the tech about a plumbing issue going on. Upon arrival the toilet would not stop running, it kept over filling inside the tank. My recommendation would be to do a full tank rebuild. The homeowner denied any work to be done at this time. Came to job to look at what customer was wanting and need to go over it in the morning at our meeting with Bryan
On arrival system running and cooling producing 18 degree delta. Indoor unit clean but supply plenum has significant bacterial growth in it. Outdoor unit clean and passing all electrical testing. Recommended speaking to iaq advisor about options to address growth in supply plenum. Customer would like to wait till next year.
