Tech Cody arrived to customer's home and met the homeowner. Customer informed me that when she turned her system on to heat this morning they smelled something burning. I turned the system to heat and smelled to burning smell. I went to the indoor equipment, the unit is a trane air handler, the unit was operating normally. I checked the outdoor heat pump, the compressor and fan motor were operating within manufacturer range and the auxiliary motor starter was within tolerance. The customer told me that this morning was the first time that the unit was put into heat mode this season. The burning smell was the dust on the heat strips burning off from first use this season. I informed the customer of my findings and the system was running normally when I left.
Tech Cody arrived to customer's home and met the homeowner. I started my inspection inside, I replaced the filter, the coil was clean, the blower was clean and it's capacitor was within tolerance, the heat strips were in range and the drain line was clear. I then moved to the outdoor unit. I diagnosed a failed compressor saver which I replaced under lifetime warranty. The compressor and fan motor were operating within manufacturer range, the auxiliary motor starter was within tolerance and the primary electrical control was in good condition. I checked the refrigerant charge and found the levels to be acceptable at this time. I shared my findings with the homeowner and the system was operating normally when I left.
Upon arrival I found that the insulation on the blower door was laying in the emergency drain pan and causing lots and lots of condensation through out the interior of the air handler Pulled blower wheel to inspect supply plenum and found biological growth on the heat strips and supply plenum. Electrical connections tight and secure, electrical components acceptable EVAP coil clean, blower wheel clean Refrigerant levels acceptable Cleaned and waxed outdoor system Emailing cst estimates for UV systems
Completed pvc run to j box. Wired in chicken coop. Replaced 5 bubble covers. Job complete.
Job complete. Installed new exterior led flood light. Wired to existing switch. Installed whole home surge protection. Final pay,ent collected.
Estimate sold to finish wiring to chicken coop and install 5 exterior in use bubble covers. Need 1/2 " pvc couplings and connectors. 5 bubble covers. THWN. Etu. No issues. Customer accepted estimate for new exterior light. And whole home surge protection. Need to pick up 5000 lumen 3 head fixture from HD. Dusk to dawn. Need BR215. 2 tandem BR20/20. Round exterior bell box. Extension ladder. Hammer dril. PLEASE SCHEDULE FOR 8AM 9/19/24. Customer put half down on project. $1663.00. PLEASE MAIL CUSTOMER PAPER RECIEPT.
Upon arrival for filter change. Found out Customer did not have any filters for changing. Once Customer orders new filter Recommended calling us back out to change them
Panels were wired up very well but I did find a wire on a 20 amp breaker that was 14 days as well as a wire on a 20 inch breaker that had it started to bubble the installation I talked to him about this and I cleaned up the rust and corrosion on the wire and the breaker there was no surge protection on either panel but gfci's were present and the plugs were wired correctly
Install 42k heat pump upflow with code kit, keep current filtration add uv light
This system was complete iced over. Filter was clean and air flow was good. I recommend system replacement.
05/24/24 Tyler S- both waterheaters are 20 years old and informed the customer that 5he units could go at any time and need to be replaced soon. There is no drain pan so if they start to leak it will cost more in damages. Both installed well minus a few code and shouldn't need a new shut off or drip line

Techs Cody and Mark arrived to customer's home, we met Sue and she guided us inside to the thermostat and indoor unit. We started at the indoor unit, we replaced the filter, the coil and blower were clean, and we flushed the drain line with a gallon of water with no issue. Out side the guages showed the system to be properly charged with refrigerant, the compressor ans fan motor were operating properly. The Auxillary motor starter was out of tolerance according to manufacturer, thr unit was under warranty so we installed and new one and verified operation.
Upon arrival I found the thermostat hanging not connected properly, Put thermostat on correctly and system fired up and started cooling efficiently Cleaned and waxed condenser
Trane heat pump with air handler installed in 2018. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Evaporator coil is clean. X13 blower motor is acceptable. Heat strips are pulling proper amperage. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range.
Carrier heat pump with air handler in stalled in 2010. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Heat strips are pulling proper amperage. Evaporator coil is clean. Blower wheel has slight build up starting to form. X13 blower motor is acceptable. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Hose bib in the back is leaking into the wall and needs to be replaced. Customer does not know schedule and was not able to set an appointment for a plumber right now.

Tested all components all measured within ratings and specs. Refrigerant level is normal. Washed and cleaned condenser. Customer changed filter recently.

Resealed supply from the Inside re mastic sealed the return and spliced inhigh voltage from the compressor contactor to the second set of heat strips to give additional heat tested unit and left on in heating
