I had invited my son and his wife to stay with me for a few days, until their AC got repaired. The second day here, the temp got up to 90 degrees upstairs. Joshua from Comfort Experts arrived in record time for a night-time call. When we went upstairs, it was still hot, but the AC was blowing cold air! I couldn't believe it! He said as long as he was here, he would check the system out to see if he could spot the problem. He did see what could have caused the event. He was very thorough, very knowledgeable, very polite, very nice to deal with. We have been doing business with this company for years, and I have never been disappointed.

Mike was pushy and would not leave until I made an appointment I do not intend to keep. Blamed my cat for getting out of the house when the cat has only gone out the door when it has been left open, not while we were walking out. Left the used filter out in my hallway for me to dispose of.

We have been with this company for 11 years and counting. Every single time the service person gets here, they are clean, courteous, knowledgeable, transparent with all the info, etc. They are truly a 5 star company throughout. They take care of all our a/c needs and since we have a service agreement with them ($20/month) they come out 2 times a year for a checkup and cleaning, and service discounts. This company takes all the questions out who to call for a/c, plumbing and electrical. You cannot go wrong with this company!

We have used Comfort Experts / Hobson Air Conditioning so far to: 1. Repair an AC unit 2. Purchase a new AC unit 3. Repair a dryer 4. repair an AC unit (again) Every time, they have been on time, communicative, respectful, and very open about all options without being 'sales-y'. I want to clarify; when I say 'responsive', the last interaction with them began on a Tuesday at 5pm and we had someone in our home looking at the A.C. by Tuesday at 6pm. 100% recommend.

Came to house for issue with plug for washing machine that need to be replaced so replace plug and also talked about rewiring entire house and updating electrical service and moving it and also adding a bunch of plugs throughout the house when doing rewire
Showed up for a plumbing evaluation homeowner said they just had their hot water heater replaced by their personal plumber a couple of weeks ago she has no need for any plumbing services but was kind enough to let me walk through anyways looking at the new hot water heater I recommended a flood stop because of the location looking at the apartment water heater in the backyard I recommended flushing but also replacing the water supply lines due to corrosion that one is only 4 years old thank you for choosing comfort experts!

10/28/25 Came to house for doorbell not ringing chimes got there and time was disconnected and tough one upstairs wasn't working but doorbell transformer is giving up right voltage and doorbell is working and customer said was working before but noise just got lower and then stopped working but Will come back out Thursday morning to swap out chime kits in house

Came to job or electrical inspection customer had company have something plugged into their outlet that controlled and monitored their electrical system and apparently spike or ark on their system so they called us out here to check it out and ended up finding a burnt plug and so swap that out and then had to talk to the who's of everything so that customer could be reimbursed but also explain to customer about doubled up neutrals and also replacing the panel because of its old and no main disconnect and also the house has aluminum wiring in it which caused the issue in the first place and definitely will cause issues in the future and explain that to her

Today I performed a cooling tune-up on a three system home all of them gas furnaces one is Goodman one is a mono one is carrier the Amana Services the master downstairs and is under warranty the Goodman Services downstairs common areas and is not under warranty the carrier system Services the upstairs and is not under warranty for the most part everything checks out indoor and out however I did find the value germicidal bulb to be out on one unit and one unit has no UV and the third has the iaq200 which is still in good condition also noticed the carrier system does not have a P-trap on the drain line nor does it have an inline water safety nor does it have a compressor saver kit outdoor like the other two systems do discussed surge protection April air filter upgrades and all of the recommendations with the homeowner however at this time she is not choosing to take care of anything I was unable to replace her filters because she did not have any on site she is ordering more filters an
On this visit I looked at both heating and cooling sides of the system.im happy to report that the system test in tolerance. The td is 20°. I do recommend an easy start to reduce the inrush.

Today washed the coil because it had way to much build up. Her filters are clean and freon levels are good. System is online and ready for cooling. No charge for dirty condensor coil. This is part of her maintince.
Came to house to look at why electrical bill is high and talk to Brian and check the few AC things that ended up finding out that it was pulling 22 amps and only had a number of 14.7 on the rating of the AC unit so we are getting an AC tech out here to take a look at it
For this job I performed a super tune up. All mechanical portions and refrigerant portions were working within normal spec limits. The water heater is from 2006, I reccomended having it inspected by a plumber and possibly flushed/cleaned due to age. Homeowner stated anytime in the day would be ok for a plumber to do an inspection.
For this job I performed an evaluation originally scheduled as a a double ST. I completed all portions of the ST but had to evaluate the bigger unit that serves the upstairs area due to low delta and low refrigerant reading on gages. Leak detector went off several times in the evaporator coil but could not pin point an exact spot. I spoke about options between adding refrigerant but the risk of it exasperating the issue and potentially making the leak worse, replacing the evaporator coil as a repair and adding refrigerant once done but informed homeowner of potential near future failures due to age of the unit and considering it has been running with low refrigerant, or replacing the entire unit due to outdated current refrigerant and age of the unit itself. Home owner requested an email of the repair and refrigerant options and a CA to be scheduled between 10-12 Saturday to give an exact estimate for a whole system replacement.
