9/12/25 Evaluated system. Customer stated there was water leaking around the indoor unit. He removed the doors and noticed very dirty air filters and turned the unit off. I noticed the indoor coil and blower are in need of deep cleaning. I turned the unit on and the blower started up normally. I measured the refrigerant levels and they were within specs. My opinion is that the coil iced up due to low airflow created by the dirty filters, coil, and blower. My recommendation is to schedule a thorough system cleaning. Mr Plowman is going to observe the unit for icing up periodically and call us if he notices ice buildup over the weekend. If it works without icing we need to schedule a thorough cleaning the first part of the upcoming week. If icing is observed we will need to get it done sooner. Mr Plowman is also concerned about low airflow out of the vents and not keeping up in the summer. I recommend a comfort advisor to do a load calculation and duct inspection to solve these issues.

Arrived to no cool. Found that the system was going out on high pressure to due a variable speed condenser fan motor failure. Compressor and indoor blower coming on but system is not able to reject heat due to the failed condenser fan motor. Indoor unit has very heavy biological growth and needs to be cleaned. Gave customer estimate for all known repairs at this time. Comfort advisor is scheduled to meet with this customer this afternoon.
Arrived to house maintaining 81 degrees. Customer states that cold air was coming from the vents. Checked and found that supply air was at 95.5 degrees. I explained to the customer that a heat pump is designed to maintain the home at a certain temperature and that even if the air coming from the vents feels a bit cool that it is heating the home. Customer put the system on emergency heat because he wanted to feel the warm air at the vents. Checked charge and defrost cycle. System operating normally at this time. Customer states that Donna would cover the service fee. Pausing until payment is processed.
