For this evaluation the customers air handler 60A breaker at the panel was tripped due to overheating. My thermal camera was picking up 110° exiting the breaker equating to 42 degrees Celsius with a trip degree temp of 40°C. The breakers also really loose and since the breaker had already tripped I recommended for placing the breaker with a new one to prevent repetitive breaker trips. Before I installed the new breaker I could hear the old breaker arcing on the ladder indicating that breaker is in fact failing.
On this visit I talked to Tom about his system from 1995. The issue was he didn't have propane in the tank but non the less he wanted to make sure his heater works. While out side he watched me as I inspected the unit. I did make sure the system worked and I also talked about system replacement. He says not going to replace it.
Customer doesn't like to low flush flow thought it may be partially stopped it is a builder grade toilet offered suggesti9ns to solve issue and explained membership customer wants to speak with husband and let us know

Arrived onsite customer directed me to a toilet in the master bathroom that was clogged. Went ahead and ran toilet auger through and cleared stoppage. Tested after repairs were made everything working properly.
Panel upgrade and surge protection sold. PLEASE SCHEDULE WORK FOR THURSDAY 1/9 ALL DAY. PHOTOS SENT TO BRIAN TO PULL PERMIT AND SCEDULE DISCONNECT FOR FIRST APPOINTMENT. Need 200A disconnect. 200A main lug. All that. Customer paid $3000 down.
Customer phone call for warranty thermostat I recently installeded. Customer didn't know what Hold meant in the thermostat, I explained that's normal and that the system isn't running based off a schedule but rather in manual mode, and customer's own input.
For this evaluation the customer's thermostat was blank and system was not running, during my evaluation the air handler had power and was saying idle on the control board. I went to the thermostat and jumped R,W, and Y and the system started running. This let me know the thermostat was bad. I replaced the thermostat with the new one and programmed it accordingly, and upon doing so the system started running. I left with the system heating and blowing air at about 100°. Customers mentioned that their lights in their house flicker occasionally and they're worried about a potential electrical fire so I am setting up an electrician referral to come look at their electrical panel because they do not know how old it is and want to make sure all the breakers are functioning properly and there is no danger to them and their home.

On this job I returned to fix a coil sensor problem. The ystsme is now fine tuned and ready for heating
His panel looks good but he's having issues with 2 GFCI breakers and after talking about it he would like to replace them his self but the plugs are all wired correctly and gfci's are present where needed
Arrived at customers house for evaluation Bad thermostat replaced
For this heating tune-up I inspected the air handler and condenser, all equipment was measuring at the manufacturer specs and running well. There is Nexus amount of Bio growth inside the air handler so I recommend installing a UV system to mitigate the spread of Bio growth in the home as well as installing whole home search protection to protect sensitive electronics within the home to include the HVAC equipment. Lastly I recommend a hard start kit to keep amp draw low on startup and increase the longevity of the life of the compressor.
Customer was not home. I called him and he was able to unlock door from his phone. Repaired wiring behind customer installed outlet to fix plugs not working. Called customer back he paid for minor electrical repair and locked door behind me.
On this job the thermostat would not shut off blower motor. I replaced it underwarrenty and added a soft start kit to the conendors. System is back online and ready for cooling and heating.
For this heating tune-up I inspected the air handler and condenser, all equipment was measuring at the manufacturer specs and running well. Customer has an appointment set up with an electrician to come out and hook up his HVAC equipment to his generator switch. I recommended to the customer adding a float switch to the primary drain line as well as a whole home surge protector.
