I took advantage of $49 mail flyer for a summer tune up. When the tech came out I was told my unit was dirty and that my capacitor was failing and needed to be replaced. I was also told my coolant was running and low and need to be recharged but assured there was no leak. The price for the capacitor replacement was $500 and the coolant was $3000. I was a bit shocked and taken back by this price and certainly could not afford it at the time. I ended up calling another local company that my step-dad has used for 20 years and recommended by his contractor friend. They quoted me $29 to change the capacitor if I bought one on Amazon for $17. How can Comfort Experts charge $500 for a $17 part? Needless to say I ended up using the other guys. I also inquired on my visit about installing a minisplit in a shed I have and removing the old one. The quoted price for install was $3,750. This really blew me away because the install price on the existing unit was only $900 and than included the electric work that needed to be done last time when it was new. But now that I’m replacing one that has already been done. I understand slight variations in price but this was outrageous. The quote for my coolant refill for 410A was that I needed 114 ounces at $27/ounce. That is $432/lb!!! Absolute insanity. I was able to get it from another company for $80/lb. My tech, Daniel, was fine. I have no complaints about him and he seems like a kind and honest fellow. He was polite the entire time. So zero complaints about him. But was definitely not impressed with the pricing. I do not feel like I got $49 worth of service. I felt like I was charged $49 to overcharge me for items and try to push a $20/month membership.

Installing client supplied mini split in master bedroom 4/25/25 - Could not complete the install due to a structural support beam being in the way. The customer only wants the unit installed if it can be centered. Office will need to refund the down payment.

$49 ONLINE DISCOUNTED FROM $99 HVAC SERVICE FEE On this job I added 160z of 410a. I measured a 9° subcool and 15 super heat in cooling and in heating mode i measured 100° suction line temp above ambient. This system works well in both heating and cooling.

On this job I installed an easy start to the system. I also did a cooling tune up. The freon levels are good the system makes a 20 td. The system is now clean and ready for cooling.

Arrived onsite customer had a broken drain under lavatory in hall bathroom. Went ahead and repaired broken drain tested after repair was made everything working properly.

Today I showed up for an evaluation on a 9-year-old gas furnace unit that was not cooling outdoor unit was not turning on this is due to the fan motor going out and causing the compressor to trip in thermal replace the fan motor got everything running and cooling

I have made and sent an estimate regarding the reattaching of her solar and I did attempt to call but she didn't pick up, I left a message

Today I performed a membership super tune-up on a 9-year-old Coleman unit gas furnace checked everything indoor and outdoor in heat mode and in cool mode all components were within manufacturers specifications except there was a fried common wire going to the Dual run capacitor on the outdoor unit this was repaired today under warranty and I discussed options with the homeowner regarding upgrades/improvements left several estimates for her to choose from she is going to get with Wells Fargo and possibly call us back to utilize a home improvement through her personal bank we have also set an appointment for a solar Comfort advisor to come out and talk about possibly reinstalling her solar or getting new solar this appointment has been set for 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday the 18th of March thank you for choosing comfort experts!

Filter was changed out inducer motor within range. All safeties are working Delta within range and the capacitor on the condenser with intolerance. All amperage’s within range condenser was dirty so I cleaned it.

Came to job to swap out light and to also fix bathroom fan and swapped out light in washer room and ended up the fan in the bathroom was not bad.There was nothing wrong just The plug for the motor had just slid out

Hot water issues with dog wash we installed. Checked faucet stops and supplies. There is no pressure on the hot water side of faucet. All supplies are hooked up correctly. We did not supply this wash station and valve. Warranty was on install only. Tech did find a supply that was not the right kind and replaced. We will warranty this visit

I was here for a super tuneup guest house. Heat strips are intolerance, but the contactor for it is making a very loud buzzing sound, Delta is was within range. Blower clean coil clean with a little bit of biological growth condenser refrigerant within range capacitor with intolerance all produced for the condenser within range that both condenser is washed UV light is over three years old

For this evaluation the customers system was taking a long time to heat and cool depending on what it was set at. Initially I thought it was the google nest thermostat, however after resetting the thermostat the issue persisted, with the system only having a 6⁰ Delta. I leak searched the evaporator coil and could not find anything and then gauged up outside to get a general idea if the system was low and the system was well below freezing. I leak searched the condenser coil and was getting hits of refrigerant on the back side. I informed the customer of what I found, and recommended replacing the system since it is out of manufacturers warranty and a repair as invasive as patching the condenser coil can cause more harm than good by accidentally putting more leaks. Not only that but the system holds over 17lbs of refrigerant which would put the cost of the repairs at over $5000. Customer will think about his options and get back to us with what he decides.
