No heat on 2015 Goodman furnace found ignition componenets failed changed ignitor and flame safety and tested furnace.
Installed new fill valve and unstoppable lavatory drain
System was not heating when I arrived the board was blinking for a pressure switch open error code so I checked to make sure the switch was still working and it was then I checked the the port for the inducer motor and it was clogged so I unclogged the port and now system is heating
This is a duel fuel system the gas furnace is the em heat. She has been using em heat when heat pump should be working fine. After looking into to it I found some issues. Low pressure started the search and come to find out the system runs it's self into a vacuum in heating mode. After dumping some em heat into the house I turn the system to cool. This change between heating and cooling seemingly rectified the issue. The system is over 15 years old I do recommend talking about system replacement before the 1st of January.
Arrived for service Eval Dual fuel thermostat in the Condenser ruled the y signal to w in the furnace due to outdoor temp No functionality issues found Revoked insulation upgrade and a duct clean with UV due to biological growth
Today I performed a heating tune-up on a gas furnace checked everything regarding safety efficiency reliability and indoor air quality everything is functioning and heating as it should safety's check out flush the drain line with white vinegar no reading on the carbon monoxide detector my only concerns were with the Rusted drain pan and the lack of insulation in the Attic made recommendations to replace the drain pan and upgrade the insulation in the Attic however the wife was sleeping I was interacting with the husband that needs to run it by the wife
Arrived onsite customer had a main line stoppage. Found double cleanouts in front yard and cleared stoppage. Tested after repair was made everything working properly.
Arrived for reccomended work Installed OEM ignitor and flame sensor System operational System left on heat at exit
On arrival system was off. First tested furnace. Furnace failed to start twice due to igniter before starting. No co found when testing. Blower was dusty. Evaporator coil was rusted. Emergency drain pan also rusted. System produced 3 degrees of cooling. Outdoor unit showed a superheat of 47, the dual run capicator was out of tolerance, fan and compressor both running at higher than typical amp draws given conditions, safety disconnect falling off wall and the contactor was buzzing and pitted. Due to age and condition of system along with cost of repairs and the upcoming refridgerant change, I recommended speaking with a comfort advisor about replacement.
Install Ducane 42k upflow gas with high efficiency filtration and code kit

I quoted 2 level 3 18k heat pump pancake units for $12,974 each
On arrival system running and cooling producing a 22 degree delta. Indoor unit passed all electrical testing. Recommended iaq 200 to kill biological growth in supply plenum. Outdoor unit passed all electrical testing but overamped on start up. Recommended compressor saver kit to address this.
On arrival system running and cooling as intended. Indoor unit is clean and in good shape. Outdoor unit passed all electrical testing but was overamping on start up.
Returned and installed a new Nest Thermostat. System was working and responded to commands, left with the system cooling.
On arrival systems running and cooling producing 20 degrees deltas. Indoor units were clean, no biological growth. Out door units passed all electrical testing but two of them are being eaten up by dog pee. When I left systems running and cooling.
This evaluation I was recalled because the downstairs system was continuously running even when the system was set to off and the thermostat was taken off the wall. I believe that when I came here originally and jumped the thermostat wiring that it shorted out the stats or messed up the back plate which was continuously sending a signal for cooling. I wired up a Honeywell thermostat and when I did so the system followed the command prompts and turned off when told to do so letting me know that it is in fact the thermostat.
For this heating tune-up I inspected the furnace for downstairs and upstairs. Both systems were running well, and all operations ran like they should.
For this evaluation the customer stated the microwave has stopped working after Michael left on Friday 26 Sep. The microwave was giving an "F6E8" error code for microwave appliance manager control. I tested voltage at the breaker and it had 120V. The microwave and over are in two separate breakers not associated with the HVAC equipment. I informed the customer we would have no reason to mess with that panel since it's not associated however he insisted it was our fault it stopped working. Customer didn't want to pay the service fee because he thinks it's something we messed up or did, however the microwave and oven are in two separate circuits not even in the same breaker box. I told him he could call the office to debate that with them.
