Changed air filter

Amana heat pump with air handler installed in 2018. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Heat strips are pulling proper amperage. Ecm blower motor is acceptable. Blower wheel and evaporator coil are clean. UV bulb is on and working. Aprilaire 213 filter is dirty and needs to be changed. Customer did not have a new filter. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Reversing valve and defrost control board are working properly. System is running in cool upon departure.

Upon arrival, tech was shown to furnace thermostat and condenser. Technician started with the furnace. Everything looked to be up to technician standards tech notice wet switch was at bottom of the floor, where it is supposed to be so they do have drain protection. Technician headed to condenser technician found fan motor wasn’t running up to specs. Technician got ratings on fan motor and they were not meeting standards technician then moved to compressor where the readings were up to technician standards.

10/22/24 Found fuses on bus bar melted, swapped spare fuse around and was able to get system operational, getting with Mark on refrigerant and operation looks like txv has failed again

Installed customer supplied thermostat. Performed function check. System running normally at time of departure.

Upon arrival tech noticed that the thermostats was set at 74 and it was 64 degrees in the house. Tech went to the air handler and poured 2 gallons down the trap and found the drain was clogged tech unclogged the drain and poured 4 gallons down the drain to check to make sure tech had cleared it completely

Upon arrival tech was shown to the air handler and condenser tech started with the airhandler. The air handler was working properly. Tech moved to the condenser and found that is was working properly. Tech looked at the filter the filter was dirty once tech changed the filter the spilt was at 15. Upon arrival the unit was pushing 56 degree out of the unit

Goodman package unit heat pump installed last year. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Ecm blower motor is acceptable. Blower wheel and evaporator coil are clean. Heat strips are pulling proper amperage. Reversing valve and defrost control board are working as they should. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Unit was washed and waxed. A compressor saver was added on this visit to help with the efficiency and reliability of the system.

.Replaced a fixture for customer. Sold estimate for 200 A upgrade. PLEASE SCHEUDLE WORK FOR 10/16 ALL DAY. MARK W WILL BE JOINING ME FOR THE DAY. PLEASE ADD HIM IN. X-13 blower motor was replaced on the upstairs unit. Wet switch installed on the downstairs air handler and compressor savers installed. Performed function check on both systems. Both systems are working properly upon departure. Refrigerant levels are acceptable on both systems and all amp draws are in range.

3/4hp 230v X-13 blower motor has failed. Need to come back Monday to install blower motor.

Upon arrival Customer stated other company said there was a leak in the Evaporator coil. After evaluation found Refrigerant levels were very low and found Evaporator coil iced over. Tried to thaw coil but was unable to 100% thaw it. Leak searched Evaporator coil, could not find leak. Talked with customers about replacement prices.
