Today I performed a membership warranty heating tune up on a gas furnace checked all connections and safeties temperature split and performed a carbon monoxide test everything checks out fine except for the drain line backing up into the emergency drain pan and the UV system out of date homeowner chose not to replace the UV bulb today or upgrade homeowner also stated he would blow out his own drain line homeowner is aware that we are not liable for water damage or organic growth in the unit
Today I performed a membership super tune-up on a gas furnace checked everything in heat mode and in cool mode indoor and out everything checked out and is cooling and heating within specs outside of the next recommendations drain line was draining slow and visibly had gunk built up customer opted to clear this drain line the high limit switch for the gas furnace was not operating as it should it was supposed to cut out at 150° but did not cut out until like 200° customer opted to replace this safety component today also recommended surge protection for the outdoor condensing unit home owner opted to take care of this today as well went over the home and budget protection plan and they signed up for the membership conversion the only two recommendations I have that are not being accepted today is a duct cleaning level 2 and indoor air quality system for the organic growth in the unit
Today I inspected to gas furnace. The system show no sign of cracked heat exchanger. The system comments test in tolerance. The td is over 30° in heating mode for both system. The system could use some uv and soft start
Preformed level 1 duct cleaning, cleaned all supply vents and return vents as well. Saw biological growth on two vents, customer gave us a chemical to get rid of the biological growth
Came out for a membership heating tune-up checked out all the components in the gas furnace everything is operational at this time however we did find some indoor air quality concerns discussed options with the customer and she has chosen to go with a level 1 duct cleaning installing the iaq200 and a blower clean the germicidal spray will be done complimentary upon my return after they complete the duct cleaning I will come back to install the indoor air quality system and clean the blower wheel I will be pausing this call for the return visits spoke to the office so they can call back to the customer and get it scheduled

.came to house and gave quote to run new circuit to oven because it's overloading because the last electrician ran to small of a circuit to running the whole range/microwave
Plumbing tune up. We checked all plumbing fixtures and appliances. There are a few issues that need attention. I built and presented options for repair or replace. No work done at this time
Replaced the heat exchanger and the burner assembly for a noritz tankless customer supplied. Tested after installation everything working properly. Customer said she spoke to office and they will be charging the remaining balance November 1st to card on file.
Arrived onsite customer had a tankless water heater located in utility area that is needing to have the heat exchanger replaced. Called noritz and am having the heat exchanger delivered to homeowner. Customer would like to request paying a 1/2 now and 1/2 at an extended date to charge card on file. Will ask office on the morning.

Came out for a membership super tune up found several issues with the gas furnace several components are failing The plenum needs to be sealed The blower wheel needs to be cleaned and the compressor is over amping on startup so I recommended a compressor saver kit homeowner is unable to go with any of the recommendations today however she did opt to sign up for our new home and budget protection plan and I updated the payment information with the new expiration date and CVC homeowner is aware that she needs a new unit but is restricted by her financial situation she may call us back for an estimate
Performed inspection wrote some recommendations for customer, customer thought she was having her ac tuneup done today.
Quoted a level 1 36k gas closet upflow for $9891 Also Quoted converting gas system to electric level 1 36k straight cool closet upflow plus power circuit and code kit for $11,096
9/26/24 Customer had to leave the house need to reschedule for Thursday the 3rd to perform my electrical evaluation
Etu. Recommended surge protection as well as fixing service entrance conduit that Is broken out of bottom of meter socket. Emailed estimate. No other issues.
For this cooling tune up I inspected the furnace and condenser. The blower motor appears to be leaking oil as there was oil underneath the motor. Customer already has a UV system in the supply plenum however I still recommended a duct cleaning as she stated they have not had their ducts cleaned since they've lived there the past 4 years. but I gauged up outside I had a 41° superheat and an 11° sub cool indicating the TXV has become restricted. The capacitor was good and answer us were normal, however the contactor was buzzing and was pitted which means there is a likelihood of failure in the future.
For this call there was a no cool, indoor was running however the outdoor was not. Check the capacitor and is completely dead replace the new one and the system started working like it should blowing out at 61⁰.
Replaced switch
Performed plumbing inspection customer was in a hurry to leave so I tried to move quickly to get done so she could leave. Left multiple estimates for items found on inspection needing to be addressed.
Cleaned condenser checked refrigerant Contactor buzzing
We're just going to help I inspected the furnace and condenser, I used a tool supplied by the customer and her Shop-Vac to clear her drain line as she's had water leaking out of the coil because the primary drain line was clogged. At the condenser I had a 26° superheat with a piston metering device, the contactor was buzzing pretty loudly and was pitted indicating there is a likelihood of failure in the future. Capacitor was intolerance, and everything else appeared to be in good working order. Customer was interested in adding a supply vent and insulation to her master bedroom as that room gets the hottest in the summer and coldest in the winter, however she wants to wait until springtime.
