Colby F. is a very good technician and is very Knowledgeable on the equipment and what he is doing.
Great service the only thing I didnt care for was trying to sell me a Uv light for my system. They always try to sell me something like this every time and I just want them to come out and do their maintenance work or whatever they were called out for not to try and sell me something.
I called at 7am on a Sunday and my ac was fixed by 11:30 for a minimal fee. The ac guy was super knowledgeable and very polite. Signed a maintenance program with them because of it
Jose and Craig showed up about 8:30am and didn't leave until nearly 6:00pm. Jose was up in the inferno of an attic all day! Craig dealt with the electrical and disposing of the old unit and setting up the new one. These guys didn't seem to take any breaks or bathroom otherwise I was about to fall out and I was just sitting on the front porch. The house was being repaired and the electricians refused to turned everything on. In spite of that, I had no cold air coming into the house that my new thermostat said 97 degrees inside. Both of these young men are knowledgeable and very hard workers. Hobson is blessed to have them and so was I!
Got a good deal; no, I got a great deal Lennox would be my first choice; and it was cheaper than most!
none

Customer had family friend put the free on in system after we installed the coil customers family friend did not set charge correctly on system this is not a call back on us
On arrival customer wanted his airflow rebalanced. Let him know we don't specifically do that but he has dampers on each duct and can manipulate air flow this way. Checked out condenser because customer stated it makes a loud noise. Found dual run capicator reading 15 out of 45 on compressor side. Customer was not satisfied with 250 for capicator, will contact Goodman for parts warranty.
On arrival system running and cooling producing adequate delta. Indoor unit has significant bacterial growth but is in otherwise good condition. Outdoor unit passed all electrical testing. Recommended compressor saver kit to reduce wear and tear on the compressor. System cooling as I left.
Estimate to run new PEX water line from meter to tie in under home. Estimate includes all labor and material for installation and all excavation and backfill.
Estimate to run new PEX water line from meter to tie in under home. Estimate includes all labor and material for installation and all excavation and backfill. Need to schedule for Monday morning next week meet diggers get started on job
For this evaluation the customer's indoor was running however the condenser fan was not running but the compressor was which is why the system was not cooling. When I tested the capacitor the hermetic side was good however the fan side was completely dead. I replaced the capacitor and measured refrigerant levels where everything looked good and I had a 20° Delta with the system blowing out at 62°.
Returned and installed evap coil. Once installed pulled multiple sub 500 micron vacuums and performed a long standing pressure test. No issues on any test. Unlocked king valves and left as is for customers friend to add refridgerant at later date.
Arrived onsite customer has a leak under the home that needs to be addressed. The water service is galvanized recommended replaced the water service to under home connection. Customer is going to talk to wife and get back to me tomorrow on what he decides.

Pulled and cleaned blower with install Condenser coil clean Motors, refrigerant, and capacitors are fine
Upon arrival customer stated system will not keep up. During evaluation found that the system was freezing up while running. Leaked search the coil as best as possible, unable to find leak in areas that did not have a huge ice section. evaporator coil is also halfway cutoff from any airflow so the bottom isn't getting proper airflow. Coil needs to be reinstalled with a transition and needs to have a new txv as well. Customer wants to talk with brother who bought the equipment first before making any decisions Caused some damage so pausing for now
Made requested estimate, called customer but went to voicemail.

Arrived onsite customer had some bids to repipe her home and will send to her daughter who is paying for it. Customer had a bid from baker brothers to repipe whole home for 6971.00. Customer said she was not quoted a service fee
On arrival outdoor unit was not getting high voltage from the electrical panel. Breaker was not tripped. Reset it twice and it would not pass power. On the third try it began passing power to condenser but will need to be replaced. I found the current filter doing a poor job preventing dust bypass as evidenced by the candy wrapper on the evaporator coil. I also found bacterial growth in supply plenums. I recommended replacing the breaker, and adding an April aire filter upgrade kit that will prevent dust bypass and has a lifespan of 8 months minimum per filter. I also recommended a uvc system to kill viruses, bacteria, mold, and mildew before it enters air flow. Unable to contact homeowner at this time.
Arrived for CTU replaced filter Drains clear Blower and coil are clean Biological growth on the X13 plug and in the supply plenum Declined UV for now Washed condenser coil Moved low voltage wires off of the TXV tubing to prevent rub out failure Capacitors, motors, and refrigerant fine
