Jerred G did an amazing job. He gave us multiple options to resolve our issue and educated on future maintenances. Would definitely recommend this technician and company
Shared valuable information. Took time to make sure I was pleased.
Turned switch back on
On arrival system was turned off. Turned system on and it began cooling with no issues. Downstairs system producing 22 degrees of cooling. Dual run capicator in tolerance. Stress tested drain line with 7 gallons of water and system did not back up. Did not find any issue with system so I did not recall the service fee.
On this job I looked at 2 system. Both test in tolerance on the cooling side. TD is 20. The subcool is 9°. Both systems now have clean filters and both condensors are washed. I do recommend easy starts for both systems. The trane compressor although functional has a large amount of heat stress on his head. The easy start can help take the edge of this system for sure by lowering inrush amps by 75%.
On this job i replaced a bad cap that was causing the fan motor to spin in the opposite direction. After this i washed both condensors and change 2 filters. The system have 10 subcool and 15 super heat. Td is 20.
Arrived for service eval Dual run capacitor failed Replaced Blower and coil dusty Filter sucked into the unit Better filter highly recommended Biological growth beginning to grow in the supply plenum due to backed up drain line No drain safeties Declined and signed waiver Compressor over amping at start up Declined start kit
2014 2.5t closet gas upflow. Leaks detected in evaporator coil. Circuit board not passing proper voltage through Y to outdoor contactor. Low voltage severed on condenser unit – repaired. Jumpered at the tstat and the circuit board and Y was not functioning properly. History of power outages. Forcing the compressor on, my inrush amperage exceeds the manufacturers specifications indicating internal damage. Dual run capacitor just at tolerance. No ground wire in gas furnace high voltage Circuit. Wetswitch has been taken out of circuit in the past. Blower is dirty. Due to the age, performance and parts availability I explained to Homeowner the major issues found and the saftey thereof. We discussed many repair options, but due to the aforementioned decided to speak to a CA 4/25/25 @10 to see about finding a more comfortable and affordable option of replacement. Homeowners just took on the care of their father which has ailments, so they are stressed. I offered that if an agreement w

For this evaluation I showed up to the customer's home and the system was not running at all. I have power coming into the breaker and passing through the breaker however nothing was going to the transformer. I'll inspecting the system I found that one leg of 120 volts at burnt up at the contactor and the other leg was partially burnt not passing power through the contactor back to the transformer. I showed the customer what I found and explain both those parts would need to be replaced in order to get the system up and running. Once I replaced both of those the system ran like it should, and I tested it in both heating and cooling with no issues. I left the system on heat and set to 74⁰.
On this visit I came back to install the warrenty heat strip kit. After install I tested the system in both heating and and cooling. Everything is working as it should and is ready for work.
On this visit I looked at both heating and cooling. I noticed that the breakers in the unit have broken on the back side where bracket down. I'm ordering new heat strip package with breakers to make this repair under warranty. The cooling side td is 20°. Duct work looks good no air leakage.
Spoke to customer she said she will be purchasing one and call us to install.
Wrote up some options for customers replacement of water heater. Customer is going to get it taken care of but does not want to do any financing. Will call us back out when she is ready to take care of water heater.
