Arrived onsite customer directed me to the hose bibb in backyard leaking. Went ahead and replaced the hose Bibb in backyard. Tested after replacement everything working properly.

Today I performed a heating tune-up on a 1-year-old gas furnace unit checked everything top to bottom filter needs to be changed but they did not have a replacement today I poured white vinegar down the drain line and insured that it is Flowing freely performed a carbon monoxide test and had zero reading took pictures of the indoor evaporator coil as well as the blower wheel and inside the supply and return plenum everything looks good and clean the homeowner expressed concerns about air quality and allergies so we discussed filtration and indoor air quality systems I left her with some information so that she can go over it with her husband and give us a call back should they decide to go with any of the recommendations thank you for choosing comfort experts!

2/4/25 Arrive for AHC filter clean but has bypass air - April Aire upgrade recommended to eliminate bypass air Drains clear but secondary is open to the attic with no p trap to block suction - Recommend capping or installing a p trap No drain switch to prevent water damage Heat strips fine Blower and coil dusty from open secondary and bypass air Condenser coil clean Motors, capacitors, and refrigerant fine Insurable IAQ200, brought drain line into code with a cap on the secondary to stop attic suction, will return Thursday to install April Aire upgrade

For this super tune-up I inspected the customers upstairs and downstairs Air handlers and condensers. For the most part all equipment was measuring with the manufacturer's specs and running well. I recommend to the customer adding a hard start kit to both condensers to help lower amp draw on startup which in turn will increase the efficiency and longevity of the compressor. I also recommend a UV sanitation system in both or the system that serves the area of the customers are in the most to improve air quality as well as kill any biologics that come into contact with the light. Because the customer has a pan switch however I highly recommend adding primary float switches as a first line of defense against clogs and potential water damage.

For this heating tune-up I inspected the customer's air handler and condenser. At the air handler the heat strips were pulling 20 amps each. The customer was concerned because the blower was running non-stop even when the temperature was met, however would shut off when they turned the temperature down. At the condenser the dual run capacitor was out of tolerance and the contactor was buzzing and pitted indicating that that electromagnet could fail. If the capacitor gets too low then the compressor will not kick on to pump the refrigerant and the customer may not have heat or cold air depending on the season. I recommended to the customer at this point to not go with the repairs as investing more money in an old condenser does not really make sense as other components could fail and it would just be a compounding affect. The customers wanted to talk with a comfort advisor, and the appointment is set for tomorrow 25 January between 12:00 and 3:00.

1/23 waited for a while and customer never showed. Tech and dispatch tried reaching out to customer. No answer. Pausing and moving on 1:11pm Stopped back to see if customer was home yet. No luck

1/15/25 I will return Jan 22nd to perform the panel rejuvenation I have a confirmed a date for the work to be done I have completed the work and clean replaced and organized said panels

Today I showed up for an evaluation on a four-year-old heat pump unit was not running upon my arrival 3 amp fuse at the air handler control board had been blown replaced it and checked all low voltage connections both indoor and out as well as at the thermostat ran power to all Cycles including heat mode emergency heat and cool mode unable to recreate the issue left the unit running and heat mode thermostat was satisfied before I left homeowner decided to sign up for the home and budget protection plan spoke with her daughter over the phone Who provided the daughter's email address to be added to the account so that the daughter will receive all of the invoices moving forward there is an estimate for an Aprilaire upgrade kit the daughter will be reviewing this with the homeowner and getting back to us at a later date thank you for choosing comfort experts!
