Today we showed up for a warranty super tune-up on a nine year old heat pump checked everything indoor and outdoor and heat mode and in cool mode all electrical components tested out within manufacturers specifications we changed the filter and flushed the drain line with white vinegar washed the outdoor condensing coils and addressed the homeowners questions and concerns we discussed options for duct cleaning and upgrading the UV system however this is something the homeowner is going to have to wait on today he did decide to upgrade his membership to our new home and budget protection plan allowing him to utilize his free visit with that plan and gaining better coverage

No issues with system components High voltage power was lost at some point and the thermostat had reset Electrician scheduled for Thursday to check panel for issues related to high voltage dropping May be interested in upgrading to a 200 amp panel due to workshop in the back

On this job I inspected the system agian for hail damage. This is stuff I saw during the tune up. The system has micro channel coils not really something I can comb out. But the amount of damage is very small. There are no ill effects to the operation of the unit. Hes decided with me that the system if fine and needs no repair.

On this job I found a leak at the condensor coil and made a repair to it. Did not have time to do complete tune up. Customer will reschedule for this at later date.

I have informed the Custmer of the nature of the problem and how the power consumption of the space heaters takes the majority of the 15 amp by it's self and if anything else is turned on it might trip

For this evaluation the customers system was freezing up and the blower was not running. The system would run when the thermostat was set to "On" but would not run when set to "Auto", causing the evaporator coil to freeze up. I tightened the low voltage lines on the thermostat and after a delay the system started running like it was supposed to when the blower was set to Auto. When I gauged up I also had a 33⁰ SH with a piston metering device, and a target of 14⁰ indicating the system is under charged. I spoke to the customer that the system was under charged and based on how young the system is and the poor quality of install (See photo of buried refrigerant lines as the system was not set on a platform) I believe that the system was not properly charged with refrigerant after installation and is why it has not been running efficiently and another contributing factor as to why the evaporator coil was freezing up. I added exactly 16oz of 410A to the system and got it to a 14⁰ target Su

For this super tune-up I inspected the customer's furnace and condenser. Customers were having an issue with the furnace at night not reaching temperature because the thermostat was sending a signal for both heating and cooling at the same time, I replaced the thermostat under warranty and once I got it on I test it in both heat and cooling and it started working like it should.

For this no heat call the customer's fuse at the air handler was popped, therefore preventing the system from running. Tried the number of different methods to include the hopscotch method jumping R to each individual call however I was not able to immediately replicate the low voltage short. I inspected all the low voltage wiring and found rubout of R on the gutter outside where the tstat wiring goes from the attic to condenser. I taped up the rubbed out area and insulated the wiring with electrical tape. System was heating and running upon departure. Customer would like to have a plumber Jerred to come look at their upstairs toilets, Wednesday April 9th early afternoon please. Customers would like a phone call before heading out 817-240-3229

3/25/25 Showed up for a warranty cooling tune-up however a hail storm rolled in while I was assessing the outdoor unit unable to complete my work today homeowner has opted for a deep cleaning of the outdoor condensing unit which we will return to complete when the weather is clear

Sewer line is approximately 100' long found several belly due to that would recommend replacement line at house approximately 2' and ending is approximately 4'

During this visit I straighted out some fins that were damaged during our last Strom. Freon levels are spot on. System makes a 15° super heat and td is 20°. The filter is still clean i also showed the home owner the fresh air intake and filter.
