Jake was friendly, efficient, and helpful. My fuse box had 4 bad breakers. He explained it was a fault with the box itself, and covered by warranty. He gave me all the detailed information for getting free replacement breakers, and will come back out to replace them all once they arrive. I had a breaker go out previously, and fixed by another electrician. They never mentioned the warranty coverage, and I paid more for that one breaker replacement than all 4 will cost thanks to Jake’s honesty, and integrity. How often do you truly see someone go above and beyond like that?

For the job, I worked on an evaluation on the heat pump system not heating. As I open the system I noticed, the fuse was blown. For this job I did a super tune up. Thermostat coming off the wall (risks damaging thermostat wiring) Drain pan has standing water, rusting. Liability for water damage. Replace pan. Primary Ptrap should be rebuilt and secondary as well. Ribbing on ducts no longer visible due to level of dust build up. Recommend duct cleaning. Blower assembly extremely dusty, reducing airflow efficiency and higher load on motor. Evaporator coil has excessive dirt build up causing airflow restrictions and reduced efficiency. Coil visibility starting to freeze. Gas line has no sediment trap. Biogrowth in plenum, recommend anti microbial mist or UV system to tackle the issue. Outdoors, superheat is measuring 35, should be ~15. This is heavily due to the condition on blower and evap coil. Low voltage wire is not protected. Recommend protecting. Capacitor is reading 42, rated 45. Out of tolerance. Compressor LRA 72, currently starting on 90 amps, recommend start kit. Recommend surge protector

For this job, I worked on a cooling tune up on this heat pump system. I went through all the mechanical and electrical parts of the system and checked for maximum efficiency. Refrigerant levels were on point, filter was replaced and outside condenser was washed. Duct cleaning and coil clean was recommended to customer due to bad dust levels, customer approved and applied for financing. Duct cleaning and coil clean will be done on April 6 first call. Came to job for trade turn and got here and customer explained Alonso replaced a breaker but checked everything and talked to customer about separating grounds and nuetrals from being bundled Customer also had a burnt up surge protector that we had installed on an AC system that we also installed five years ago and all of it was under warranty still for another 4 so replace surge protector and also fix box in washer room for plug also quoted to add a surge protector to main panel and also to separate the grounds and neutrals but customer just financed work with our AC people so he is having to wait a little bit before he's going to do these things but customer does want to add a search protector to the main panel very interested in that
Came out for an evaluation customer had previously discussed replacement options with us but due to the price was hoping to explore repair options after diagnosing the system with the homeowner by my side every step of the way so he could fully comprehend what we were looking at it is determined that the only true solution is replacement so I am setting an appointment for a comfort advisor to come back out Friday morning 9:30 to 12:00 we also discussed having me come back out after installation to run a full diagnostic on the new system just for transparency and peace of mind homeowner signed up for a membership today thank you for choosing comfort experts!

For this job, I worked on a super tune-up on this straight electric system. I went through all the mechanical and electrical parts of the system and checked from maximum efficiency. I notified the customer about her fan motor amping high. Fan motor was amping at 1.04 when it should be under .93. a replacement of the fan motor was recommended, however customer rejected. In addition, customer was also notified about how dirty her system was and what the possible solutions were. Customer rejected all the work, system was left in cooling at exit. Came to job for electrical plugs not working on the outside of house and Nathaniel was the last one that was here to replace a plug and ended up coming back to fix it but those plugs were tripped and so I got here and found the GFCI and showed the customer where it was at and how to trip the GFCI or reset it if there is ever instance again where she needs to do that so she doesn't call us for it but did talk to customer about it and how the GFCI will tend to go bad after a while and if it seems to keep tripping it then to call us and it is about time for that thing to be replaced Customer has surge protection as well on panel and ground rods and GFCI protection everywhere it's needed just had a painting covering the plug

For this job I performed a STU. No significant abnormalities were noted during the inspection. The capacitor, hard start kit, and refrigerant levels were all within normal limits. I did not a UV bulb out of tolerance and recommended bulb replacement. Primary was not present during inspection but his wife contacted him and he declined the bulb replacement. Came out for a warranty super tune-up on an 8-year-old heat pump system for the most part everything is operating within manufacturers specifications the concerns that I brought to the homeowner's attention today involved efficiency and air quality it has been quite some time since they had a duck cleaning and I was able to show the homeowner exactly how dirty things have gotten there is also biological growth inside the indoor system as well as grass and leaves being matted into the outdoor coils likely from mowing the lawn while the system is running made recommendations to turn the system off during lawn Care and recommended an updated UV system that has better protection and ends up paying for itself in the long run as well as a full service duct cleaning coupled with an outdoor coil cleaning the homeowner I spoke with is retired however his wife is at work he would like to run things by her before making the decision if they go with the full service reset button estimate it should
Came out for a plumbing evaluation customer is experiencing a leak coming from the shower in the hall bathroom upstairs this is due to a failed silicone seal around the sliding glass door and at the base tested the drain line by pouring approximately 10 gallons of water focused into the drain line itself did not experience any leaking downstairs however when we run the shower the water is splashing up into the track of the door and leaking out the corner which does end up causing the leak downstairs advised the homeowner that the seal needs to be cleaned up and redone there is no plumbing solution to offer homeowner is not interested in a membership as they are already tied up with another company for HVAC and electrical for the system that they financed thank you for choosing comfort experts!
