Michael and Alonso came out to assess our AC which had stopped cooling in the upstairs for about a week and turns out the "return duct" had some damage of the metal ring that goes around to I guess keep it secure and hold its cylinder shape. It's impossible to know when or how it got damaged whether by the installers or the duct cleaners we had in earlier this year. Although they weren't able to fix the issue, they were able to identify the problem and get me scheduled for their Expert to come out the next day to fully assess. They were professional, seemed knowledgeable and quick to complete the assessment and get me on the schedule.
I've owned my house for about five years now, and have trusted Comfort Experts to do much of the repair and maintenance work on it, with outstanding results.
But nothing compared to the scope of my most recent project, a partial re-plumbing of all the fast-deteriorating (and close to breaking) galvanized pipe running throughout my 1920s house – most of which was creatively installed in bizarre ways, many years ago.

And I'm incredibly glad it was, because as challenge after challenge was uncovered, the Comfort Expert team worked through and overcame each of them – from an oddly-placed waterline, to the excavation and installation of a new water main through a yard filled with rock and tree roots (shout-out to C&R Excavation!), to reaching barely-accessible areas of the crawl space under the house to replace difficult-to-reach pipes. Etc.
It was a true team effort, and the Comfort Experts technicians handled everything in stride with determination, patience and professionalism.
Tyler B. – only two weeks into his role at the time – was already insulating pipes, navigating the crawl space, and digging holes like he'd been on the job for months.
Zach answered the call when he was needed; squeezing into ridiculously small spaces to access areas otherwise impossible to reach.
Daniel was with me every step of the way, and I was less anxious about the entire project knowing that it was in his very capable hands. He confidently navigated each unforeseen issue – and there were many – while patiently answering my questions and constantly troubleshooting issues with the team.
And then there was Mark W., who was everywhere and seemingly capable of doing everything. He was in the attic running a new drain line for my HVAC. He was under the house installing new pipe. He was hopping into holes with a jackhammer to assist the excavation team. Hobson rep called me in May to set up appt for summer check up. I am a member of their club and I get this done for no charge at the time of service. I called them back the 1st of July and said I would like to have my unit serviced. They set me up to fit me in when they could. Joshua came by on the 5th. He was professional and sent pictures. Today I showed up for an evaluation on a 6-year-old gas furnace system the system was intermittently shutting off and struggling to keep up during the hottest part of the day this was due to a clogged drain line backing up and tripping the float switch the clog was worst at the Robinson tea underneath the bathroom sink in the hall bath downstairs disassembled everything sucked out the line with a vacuum physically scraped out the Robinson tea and flushed hot water through it put everything back together tested the drain line with four to five gallons of hot water everything is operational as it should be went ahead and let the system run long enough to verify refrigerant levels and temperature split I am satisfied with the measurements I read however I did notice a couple of plumbing leaks one underneath the hall bathroom sink downstairs at the knuckle for the pull stop as well as a leak at the collar of the kitchen sink faucet made recommendations for a plumber to come out for a compl

On this job I looked at cooling side of the system. TD is 20°. I'm happy to report that the system test in tolerance. The condensor is clean and so is the filter. System could use soft start management system.

On this job I discovered a stuck low pressure switch. I engaged the switch and disengaged and that seem to fix it. The system is back online and ready for cooling.

Came out to look at generator and panel and look at upgrading generator but talk to customer about it and was also wanting a smart module installed on panel so talk to customer about it all and ended up wanting to do a few other things as well so I Will come back out Friday the 26th to do all the work listed in quotes will need help Generator guy needs to come out on Monday the 29th to do maintenance on generator anytime
