Wednesday, 5/21/25 My experience with Comfort Experts was very good. We were able to schedule a tech to come out the same day. The technician was friendly (and talkative) and gave a knowledgeable report of the issue, then showed me the readings spent time explaining why they were bad and why he came to his conclusions. I needed a new system. The salesman did a great job of explaining our options with the pros and cons of each. Their professionalism sealed the deal. They were able to schedule the install for two days after the purchase. The techs that installed the system were just as friendly and professional as the others. They finished the installation in one day, so we hada cool air and a new system for that night.

Saturday, 5/24/25 The system stopped working, so we called them back out. Justin Pennington came out to assess the issues and was able to fix the problem to get the system working again. It was very knowledgeable he kind of snow what was going on and explained what he was doing.

For this job, I did a cooling tune.Up system is marked as under 10.However the data tag shows over ten. Notice. The drain line does not have A PTrap and suggested for the homeowner. Delta was in range. Is suggested a pan strip to keep his drain line clear. Condenser has a hard start kit installed. If capacitor was in tolerance and refrigerant levels were good. Notice the decent amount of biological growth inside of the indoor unit and asked if he would like an air quality expert. Finished cleaning the condenser and unit was running when I left.

For this job, I ran a cooling tune up. Read A 24 Delta. Condition of the blower fan is extremely dusty and the ducts And plenums are very dusty as well. Customer did not have a new filter for me to replace. Customer showed concern for drain line, Gave him a quote for a drain clearing which he declined. Offered. To put a pan strip to keep the drains from getting clogged, which he declined. Let the homeowner know that the condition of his disconnect and of the outlet at the airhandler are both poor. Was also made aware that he is not the homeowner but renting the home. Completed all checks on the outdoor unit, cleaned the coil, and air Conditioning was running when I left.
Pricing on this estimate is to install a new washer box, the existing unit has multiple leaks on the gate valve stops. Both valves are significantly corroded and continuing to leak in the off position. The box needs to be replaced Comfort Experts will shut water off to the residence, we will then cut a section of drywall out to gain access to the piping. We will then cut the copper feed lines, and then the drain lines. We will then mount the new washer box in place, reconnecting both water feed lines and the sewer line. Upon completion of the install, we will test the fixture for leaks and proper functioning. *Comfort Experts is not responsible for any drywall repairs needed to gain access to the piping

6/5/25 Today we showed up for a leaking hose bib upon arrival hose bib would not shut off it's slowly let water by. Also homeowner informed me that their Master tub shower was not getting cold. Replace the hose bib out front. The set screw in the handle for the master tub shower was locked on there, so I had to cut it off. Today I performed a heating tune on the system. No significant abnormalities were noted during the maintenance on the heating side. During inspection I did know that there was biological growth on the blower motor, evaporator coil, and most of the wiring. I recommended a duct cleaning level 2 to clean the ducts, the evaporator coil, and the blower.
