Verified safety, system checked out fine. Insured the heat pump was operating fine, auxillary heat is operational.

For this evaluation the customers system was only running in heat pump mode and the heat strips would not engage. The thermostat was set to comfort so I changed it to a 3⁰ droop for them to come on. After doing so they still wouldnt come on so I checked the breakers and there was no incoming or outgoing power. The main panel breakers for the air handler side of the unit were tripped. When I reset them, the disconnect caught on fire, most likely from the surge protector. I replaced the disconnect as and verified everything was tight and grounded properly. I left the system on emergency heat because even with the thermostat set to have the heat strips activate when there is a 3⁰ difference the heat pump was all that was running but with only a 7⁰ Delta. The install manager will be following up to see if he can diagnose the issue.

For this evaluation the customer's heat strips were not coming on during defrost mode. Both heat strips had continuity with one having 12 ohms and the other having 10 ohms. The heat strips were not hooked up so there was a call for auxiliary heat however because they were not wired up correctly they would not come on. I reconnected the heat sequencer however upon doing so the fuse kept popping indicating more than likely that sequencer is bad. During the course of me doing my evaluation the thermostat failed it would not switch back to heating mode and was stuck in cooling. The customer wanted me to put on a new thermostat which I did and upon doing so the system started heating. The customer said he would give us a call back in the coming weeks so we can order that new sequencer and get it installed so he has auxiliary heat during defrost mode for his heat pump.

Came to job to look at software and give quote on adding a monitoring device and swapping over solar to us. So we'll have to contact solar edge and look at what it's gonna take and we'll have to talk to customer and look at what it's gonna cost to charge this and everything.

Came to job for electrical tune up And everything looked great No issues at all had g.F.I protection where it was needed But talk to her about adding a surge protector And also swapping smoke detectors

On arrival system running and heating as intended. Indoor unit clean and in good condition. Outdoor unit passed all electrical testing. System running and heating as I left.

For this evaluation I showed up to the customer's home and they stated that the unit was going into defrost mode however the emergency heat was not coming on and it was only blowing out cold air. When I showed up initially the thermostat was off, and when I turned it to heat the system started heating and working like it's supposed to. I tested defrost mode with ice water and jumped the board into test mode, and when I tested from common to W I was getting 24 volts. I went back to the air handler and took a closer look at the wiring and had 24 volts at the contactor however power was not passing through turning on the heat strips. The contactor had broken and failed so I replaced it under warranty and upon doing so the system started functioning like it's supposed to pulling 40 Amps. The customers would like to have an electrician come out to inspect their solar panels and discuss adding a monitoring system for the solar.

Heat tune up on Armstrong air heat pump X2 downstairs coil is very corroded biological growth is present on air handler blower wheel, coil, and ducts are very dirty there is no drain protection on primary drain line. Upstairs no primary drain protection on primary drain line blower wheel and ducts are dirty coil is corroded. Recomend start assist kits for both outdoor systems safety drain switches as well as uv light and duct cleaning

For this evaluation I had to reinstall a new thermostat because the one I previously installed was for a 2H/1C system and the customer has a 3H/2C system so it wasn't working and only running the heat strips. With the new thermostat it was utilizing the heat pump only and producing 20⁰ of heat.

Repaired sewer on 3in under slab replaced 10 ft of yard line and repaired broken 45 at street bedded pipe and tested job complete backfill in progress

Talked to customer about the thermostat I put on, will have to go in person to see what issues he's having.

Tune up on 2021 Goodman heat pump and 2024 Goodman electric heat with 2012 Lennox ac checked all componenets and operation Lennox contactor is burned and pitted no uv light on right side unit upgrade new air handler to heat pump for lower utility usage. Attic Insulation just added and filters were just changed. Wants to run all recommendations through her home warranty.

On this job I installed a 20 kw heat package. After install i tested each one to verify and got td. 135 is blowing out the vents.

Job completed back in November around thanksgiving- customer happy with outcome
