This system had tripnlock because of weak cap
On this job I looked at both system heating and cooling.the system does test in tolerance as far as functionality. One system is r22. And could use an easy start to help improve its longevity since that's what the home owner is after. TD is 20 Super heat 16 Subcool 12 Home owner left me her with her 95 year old mother.
Showed up for a free membership Plumbing evaluation hose boot outside had a crack and was leaking homeowner opted to replace this today went back with the same 4-in frost-free Arrowhead hose bib everything is fine thank you for choosing comfort experts!
Rec work for board replacement Replaced board and run tested in heating and cooling successfully Refrigerant ok but filter is nearing requiring replacement
Service eval Failed condenser control board is running the compressor with no Y call present No updates or error codes present in cool cloud Ordering new control board
On this job I looked at heating and cooling sides of the system. I'm happy to report that both test in tolerance. Heating 100° above ambient Subcool 9 Super heat 15 System has biogrowth and high in rush. Could use uv system and easy start
Her compliant was a loud noise coming from air handler. After taking blower apart I see no issues blow wheel is not loose and motor has no burn marks.
No home owner present
Come to job for electrical inspection and ended up replacing two fixtures with customer supply fixtures
Today returned to clean condensor. Freon level are good 14 super heat. Cap is in tolerance. System is back online and ready for cooling.
Today I looked at both heating and cooling. I'm happy to report the system test in tolerance. Turning on em heat did set off the smoke alarms. The is because the strips had dust on them. This happens and is normal.
Replaced 50/7.5 dual run cap
IAQ estimate Installed IAQ200 and resealed system Cooling at exit
Service evaluation Failed dual run capacitor Replaced under warranties Motors and refrigerant are fine Biological growth present in the air handler declined air quality improvements
Found bad dual rug capacitor at package unit replaced capacitor unit now working properly collected payment by credit card
Performed tune up Washed condensor and tightened connections Replaced filter Delta 18 All cooling and heating components are in tolerance Installed Soft start kit – Starting amperage from 124 to 22.5 (average) System left on cool at exit
Found condensing coil completely clogged cutting out on high pressure cleaned condensing coil unit now working properly Freon levels good
Upon arrival for evaluation I found outdoor condenser to not be coming on, I checked voltage and had high voltage but not low voltage. I then checked indoor and it had a safeT switch installed but there was no clog. I checked 24 voltage path and everything looked correct I then bypassed safeT switch to check function and system started working. I then tested safeT switch and found it to still be operating as it should I then checked drain line and found some buildup inside line that was causing safeT switch to trigger and cut 24v circuit I cleaned out gunk and rewired safeT switch and system stayed operational. Checked drain line with water and there was no clog just that little bit of gunk causing the sensor to go off. System started cooling and operating as it should System left on cool upon departure.
Upon arrival for evaluation homeowner had system off because outdoor condenser was not coming on and he didn't want to cause damage He mentioned that he reset indoor breakers and outdoor breakers to unit to see if that would fix it and no change I started my turning unit on and checking indoor unit to see if I had power and fan once I verified that I did I moved to outdoor unit Upon arrival I flipped disconnect and removed service panel Flipped disconnect back up and found that I had an L6 error code which led me to the capacitor I checked capacitor and it was very out of tolerance called dispatch to check warranty and found that homeowners have PnL still so I replaced capacitor under warranty and went to turn unit back on Control board was still showing L6 error code so I verified again that capacitor was good which it was so I went inside and reset unit from air handler. After delay condenser kicked on and system started cooling I checked Delta and had 21° of cooling Left system
