Wednesday, 5/21/25 My experience with Comfort Experts was very good. We were able to schedule a tech to come out the same day. The technician was friendly (and talkative) and gave a knowledgeable report of the issue, then showed me the readings spent time explaining why they were bad and why he came to his conclusions. I needed a new system. The salesman did a great job of explaining our options with the pros and cons of each. Their professionalism sealed the deal. They were able to schedule the install for two days after the purchase. The techs that installed the system were just as friendly and professional as the others. They finished the installation in one day, so we hada cool air and a new system for that night.

Saturday, 5/24/25 The system stopped working, so we called them back out. Justin Pennington came out to assess the issues and was able to fix the problem to get the system working again. It was very knowledgeable he kind of snow what was going on and explained what he was doing.
I'm still very pleased with Custom Experts. They sold us a good system and they backed it up!

I just met Mark D. today for the first time as he came out to inspect my failing outdoor air conditioner unit, he was remarkable in his assessment he was thorough to the point that he got more fixed than I even knew was wrong. And by the grace of God, he had all the necessary parts already on his truck. Just a delightful man that knew what he was doing, and was so confident in the company he works for. If I had a ribeye steak, got a throwing one on the grill for him just to be able to accommodate him in something better than a soft drink or a glass of water. Daniel was our installer. Very knowledgeable and very kind. He is a hard-working guy. He did a 50-gallon water heater by himself. He was on time as well. Unsatisfying Experience
I have water dripping from my AC unit. The technician took five minutes to look at the puddle and check for a connection under the bathroom sink. He did not even go up in my crawl space to assess the AC unit itself. He told me it’s PROBABLY a clog further down in the pluming, backing up into the unit, and that I needed to call a plumber instead. After that “expert advice,” he had the GALL to charge me a $49 service fee for coming out, and told me I should be thankful I had a coupon so that it wasn’t more! I chose this provider because both my father and brother had full unit replacements with this provider and maintain service contracts with them. We’re now questioning if that level of hardware replacement was necessary for them. I guess all three of us will be going elsewhere from here out for our HVAC needs.

For this super tune-up we inspected the customer's furnace and condenser, all equipment was measuring at the manufacturer specs and running well. We recommended adding a heart start kit to the condenser as the compressor was close to overamping on startup. Initially recommend a duct cleaning to help with indoor air quality and a whole home surge protector to protect all the electronics within the home from power surges for lightning strikes.
I will return on Wednesday the 28th to perform a diagnostic and a tune up Electrical to AC The AC tech will also be coming out Wednesday the 28th to look over system
Pricing on this estimate is to install a new toilet in the master bathroom. The existing toilet has significant corrosion to both the fill valve and flapper. The handle has corroded away and the toilet will not flush. Comfort Experts will order and deliver any materials needed to complete the toilet installation. We will first remove the existing toilet, and dispose of it. We will then assemble the new toilet and mount it it place. Upon completion of installation, we will test the toilet to ensure there are no leaks and the toilet is fully operational. *Should there be any damage to the toilet flange which would prevent the new toilet from being mounted. Upon arrival customer stated that the system was running for long periods of time and it was humid in the house. During evaluation found that the system has a small return leak. Repaired return leak, and found that the fan setting at the thermostat was set to on causing the air to recollect the moisture on the coil. Fixed issues and left system in cooling

Upon arrival tech talked to home owner tech found that after a power outage she heard a loud ear piercing noise tech was unable to find anything to make the noise there is a alarm system in the house that home owner said it was no longer in use. Tech believes the noise came from that there is no indication at this time that the noise came from the water heater or air handler. Upon arrival Customer stated indoor wasnworking but outdoor unit would not run and only buzz. During evaluation found Dual run cap had failed and system was out on locked rotor. Replaced 45/5 dual run cap and ran system check. Left system in cool mode

Customer was concerned that the sump pump was running constantly. Technician found that a partial blockage in the exit line of the sump pump was preventing it from draining properly. Quickly cleared the line and performed function check. System operating properly upon departure.

I have checked the solar, the electrical panel, looked over the water heater and AC as well as check the outlets on the inside and everything is looking good
For this super tune-up I inspected the customers air handler and condenser. There is no water safety on the system so the customer runs the risk of water damage caused from a clog within the primary drain line. I had the customer sign and acknowledge the drain form that if there is a clog and damage caused from it, we are not liable. The dual run capacitor on the condenser is out of tolerance and needs to be replaced, if it fails the customer will be left without air conditioning or heat when it fails.
For this super tune-up I inspected the customer's air handler and condenser. The primary drain line is clogged and not draining, and the customer was willing to clear it himself. There is no water safety on the primary drain line, but there is one on the secondary drain pan however it is not working when tripped. Refrigerant levels and Delta T were good, and heat strips were pulling appropriate amp draws. The customers insulation is measuring at a 12 r-value, with only about 5 inches in the attic. Code nowadays is a minimum of 14 inches of insulation. Please schedule Zak to come out and do an Air Quality evaluation, as well as schedule Shaun to come out and inspect, as the water heater in the attic is slowly leaking.

Checked water heater elements and t-stats on both water heater. When valve is turned off water still runs in home. Gave repair/replace estimates on water heaters and shower valves. On arrival system running and cooling. Filter was extremely dirty, evaporator coil is also excessively clogged impacting the blower motor and the overall performance of the system. Uv bulb on uv system burnt out. Recommended replacing evap coil or doing a level six coil cut and clean. Also recommended replacing uv bulb or upgrading to iaq 200 uvc system.
Customer called for lack of hot water, as I was replacing bottom, element I noticed leak from water heater tank. I informed customer the heater needed to be replaced and will send estimate.
