Evaluation on 2019 Lennox air handler customer states that unit cycles on and off more than she would like especially when it's cold out side and that her electricity bill is high. checked componenets heat strips and system operation the unit is working properly 15 KW heat strip kit is warming the house quickly and cycling off and when it's cold out the temp drops fairly quick and the unit cycles back on. Arrived onsite customer directed me to the back of home where he had a hose bibb leaking. Went ahead and replaced the hose bibb in backyard. Tested after repairs were Made everything working properly.

Tech talked to homeowner and headed to the attic tech found biological growth in the system tech showed homeowner tech then moved to condenser where everything looked and is working up to techs standards

Arrive no answer at door

Performed plumbing tune up. Put draft diveter on water heater. It was not installed when water heater was. This heater was installed by others. No warranty on water heater or vent

Arrived to no heat. Found the inducer motor to be seized due to rust and debris. Cleaned out debris from inducer motor housing and was able to get the inducer wheel to spin with some resistance. Put system back together and performed a function check. Inducer motor is amping very high due to resistance from the corrosion but it is working and heating the home. Inducer motor still needs to be replaced. Customer refused repairs at this time.

After going thru his heating system i found a high inrush and and dirty return ducts. The system could use an easy start to help with inrush amps and give the system some longevity. Also the cap 70 is ready 66 and should be replaced. The system could also use a duct cleaning. After talking it over he wants to give us a call back after talking with family. This is his parents house.

Customer states that last night the air handler started making a loud “squeaking noise”. Technician checked the blower motor, blower wheel, and heat strips and everything was within tolerance. Could not make the system make any noise. Performed function check in heating, cooling and emergency heating. System is running normally at this time.

Goodman air handler installed in 2007 with Rheen heat pump installed in 2010. PSC blower motor capacitor is weak and needs to be replaced. Evaporator is showing heavy corrosion. Heat strips are pulling proper amperage. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Comfort advisor is scheduled to meet with customer on Thursday morning regarding a while home generator. Customer refused repairs today on the blower motor capacitor.

7/15/24 Upon arrival tech was shown to the condenser and air handler. Tech started with the air handler. Tech noticed evaporator coil was filthy. Tech went to condenser and cleaned and waxed the condenser. Tech got his readings. Tech talked to home owner and will return Friday morning to finish coil cleaning

2014 Goodman gas furnace Checked and tightened all electrical connections Changed Customer provided filter Drain was clear and draining Ignition system is functional All safeties are functional Blower motor and wheel were acceptable Evaporator coil was acceptable 1 of 2 uv systems were functional Connection in gas line was leaking gas 2014 Goodman straight electric Checked and tightened all electrical connections Dual run capacitor was within manufacture range Primary electrical unit was acceptable Refrigerant levels were acceptable at this time Fan blades and motor were acceptable Condenser coil was acceptable Washed Condenser coil from inside out Cleared debris out of unit Waxed top of unit Recommended repairing gas line and replacing uv lamp Customer agreed to do all work

Arrived onsite customer wanted to install a gas powered heater in her kitchen. The unit she has is ventless and cannot install due to safety reasons of carbon monoxide poisoning possibilities. Capped off gas line coming out of wall for customer as well.

Performed plumbing inspection on home made some recommendations for the home. Customer said he will speak with his wife and get back with us.

The whole set up of the electrical isn't quite up to par for electrical code I have made an estimate to not only bring it back up to but to install a proper ground rod and clean up the outside and get rid of the boxes that are currently being used as junctions

Arrived to no cool. 40 amp breaker to the condenser was tripping every time the compressor would try to turn on. Meg ohmed compressor to show that it was “bad” however upon ohm testing the windings was able to find that the compressor is damaged but should still be able to start. 45/7.5 auxiliary motor start was very weak which was causing the compressor to over amp upon start up. Signed customer up for the home budget and protection plan and installed a new 45/7.5 auxiliary motor start and a compressor saver. System was running and cooling the home upon departure. Customer was only able to pay $700 today and has given permission to charge the remainder on Thursday. Customer says to just charge the card on file. Per Brian H this is ok.
