We have used Comfort Experts HVAC service for many years now. I had no idea about offering electrical. I called, made the appointment but had to reschedule due to timing. Unsatisfying Experience
I have water dripping from my AC unit. The technician took five minutes to look at the puddle and check for a connection under the bathroom sink. He did not even go up in my crawl space to assess the AC unit itself. He told me it’s PROBABLY a clog further down in the pluming, backing up into the unit, and that I needed to call a plumber instead. After that “expert advice,” he had the GALL to charge me a $49 service fee for coming out, and told me I should be thankful I had a coupon so that it wasn’t more!
I chose this provider because both my father and brother had full unit replacements with this provider and maintain service contracts with them. We’re now questioning if that level of hardware replacement was necessary for them. I guess all three of us will be going elsewhere from here out for our HVAC needs.

Showed up for a complimentary water heater flush however after assessing the situation the water heater was almost 20 years old homeowner has no knowledge of it ever being flushed and spoke of a previous instance where American home shield came out and had difficulties and the water heaters actually installed in a manner that does not allow a water hose to be hooked up to it in order to drain so unfortunately we were unable to flush the hot water heater today I discussed options for replacement however it is out of the homeowners budget at this time

Each will take one hour or less. Customer is having soffits and eaves replaced. Contractor asked that they have an electrician can come out and temporarily remove low voltage wiring so their work can be done. I will return one week later to resecure.

During this visit I looked at the cooling side of the system. At 1st the clogged filter was negatively I'm packing my pressure. After removal it normalized. TD is 20 subcool is 10
System could use an easy start.
Also house water pressure is terrible. Needs to see plumber. Could not wash system because of this issue.

for this job, I did a cooling tuneup. Filters hadn’t been changed. Went ahead and changed them today. Capacitor on the air handler was out of tolerance, replaced today. Primary drain line was clogged and had no safety device. Cleared the line and added a water safety. Outdoor unit Refrigerant levels were good. In rush was a tad high, so I suggested an easy start. Washed out the condenser completed. All repairs unit was cooling when I left.
For this super tune-up we inspected the customer's furnace and condenser, all equipment was measuring at the manufacturer specs and running well. We recommended adding a heart start kit to the condenser as the compressor was close to overamping on startup. Initially recommend a duct cleaning to help with indoor air quality and a whole home surge protector to protect all the electronics within the home from power surges for lightning strikes.
I will return on Wednesday the 28th to perform a diagnostic and a tune up

Pricing on this estimate is to install a new toilet in the master bathroom. The existing toilet has significant corrosion to both the fill valve and flapper. The handle has corroded away and the toilet will not flush.
Comfort Experts will order and deliver any materials needed to complete the toilet installation. We will first remove the existing toilet, and dispose of it. We will then assemble the new toilet and mount it it place. Upon completion of installation, we will test the toilet to ensure there are no leaks and the toilet is fully operational.
*Should there be any damage to the toilet flange which would prevent the new toilet from being mounted. Additional charges my occur to fix the toilet flange.
Pricing on this estimate is to replace the shower cartridge in the guest bathroom shower. The existing cartridge is seized inside the valve, not allowing water to turn on at all.

Upon arrival customer stated that the system was running for long periods of time and it was humid in the house. During evaluation found that the system has a small return leak. Repaired return leak, and found that the fan setting at the thermostat was set to on causing the air to recollect the moisture on the coil. Fixed issues and left system in cooling

Upon arrival tech talked to home owner tech found that after a power outage she heard a loud ear piercing noise tech was unable to find anything to make the noise there is a alarm system in the house that home owner said it was no longer in use. Tech believes the noise came from that there is no indication at this time that the noise came from the water heater or air handler.

Customer was concerned that the sump pump was running constantly. Technician found that a partial blockage in the exit line of the sump pump was preventing it from draining properly. Quickly cleared the line and performed function check. System operating properly upon departure.
