She's been having trouble with some GFCI ch breakers so I explained exactly what is happening and why, they are going to order some breakers of their own to replace the problematic ones
Alex D - recovered refrigerant from unit cut off and redid existing flares to outdoor unit pressure tested and checked for leaks with soap bubbles pulled vacuum and recharged unit with r-32 3.3lbs
THIS IS A RECALL ON THE INSTALL TEAM Techs Cody and Anthony arrived to customer's home and met the homeowner. When we arrived the mini split was not cooling and was giving a low refrigerating error code. We conducted a leak search and found the flare fitting connections on the outdoor unit were covered in oil residue and we got a confirmation hit with out leak detector. We called Joe S. to inform him of the issue because this is a new install, he said he would send out an install team to remedy the leak and refill the system with R32 refrigerant. We informed the customer that an install team would make it's way out and repair the system. System was down when we left.
Tech Cody and Anthony arrived to customer's home and met the homeowner. When we arrived the garage mini split was not cooling. The indoor unit would come on and the fan would turn on but the outdoor unit was not running. We turned off high voltage for 5 minutes and turned it back on to let the system reboot. After the reboot the system turned on and began to cool, we turned the system on and off two times with the remote and the system operated normally the whole time. We shared our findings with the homeowner and explained how he could reboot the system if he needed to. System was cooling when we left.
Tech Cody arrived to customer's home and met the homeowner. The system was cooling when I arrived, the homeowner informed that before they left out of town there was ice on the lineset at the outdoor unit. When I arrived there was no ice building up, when I hooked up my guages I noticed that the subcool was fluctuating because the TXV was hunting. I added 6oz of refrigerant to see if the metering device would stop hunting but it did not. At the indoor unit the TXV was attached tightly to the suction line inside of the unit, the coil was clean and I conducted a courtesy leak search but did not find a leak. When I tested the airflow of the system I made sure all zones were open and I read a static pressure of 1.0wc. This was double was the max rating was on the data tag. I shared my findings with the homeowner and recommended they talk to comfort advisor for a ductwork engineering assessment, at this time the homeowner also informed me that the front room is always hot in the summer and
Install 24k mini split for garage with 400 sq ft of insulation
Came out for recwork to clean the indoor coil and the outdoor coil to get the unit operational again achieved a 22° delta afterwards however I am still recommending a hard start kit for the compressor over amping and a dual run capacitor to replace the one that is slightly out of range before leaving checked the attic and found disconnected and pinched off ductwork and almost zero insulation took some photos and showed the homeowners they would like for a comfort advisor to come out and speak with them on Thursday sometime after 3:00 p.m. customer also stated that they didn't receive the invoice email but would like all the photos and findings I was unable to figure out how to send the email myself
Upon evaluation there is major obstruction to the airflow on the outdoor coil as well as the indoor coil the TXV and bulb on the indoor we're not insulated there is air loss from the plenum and the compressor is pushing the inrush limits recommended a compressor saver a new dual run capacitor and a coil cleaning for both units indoor and out customer needs to speak with her significant other in order to make a decision to move forward with repairs
One legger - customer wants email estimate for ceiling mounted mini split
Trane gas furnace with straight cool condenser installed in 2018. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. X13 blower motor is acceptable. Blower wheel and evaporator coil are slightly dirty and should be cleaned soon. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. All amp draws are within spec. A compressor saver is highly suggested to help with the efficiency and reliability of the system.
No answer at the door.
Performed plumbing inspection made some recommendations for customer and sent to them. Will decide if they want any of it done if they do they will call us.
Cleaned all supply and return ducts also recommended to homeowner that some grills would need replacing or repainting Gave homeowner list of grill sizes

Tyler L has completed an electrical tune-up after looking at the panel the service and the outlets everything looks very nice the panel although old is well kept but I still recommended a panel replacement due to general old age but mainly location it is stuffed in the corner behind a washer and it's a very hard to get to
I'm installing IAQ200 today. She will be having a level 1 duct cleaning done this Saturday the 2nd at 10 am.
Arrived for AHC #IAQ raining Replaced filter Drains clear but missing safeties Tons of biological growth in the supply plenum - should have a UV system installed to eliminate and clean up airflow Furnace components fine Blower and coil slurping dusty Condenser coil clean Capacitor and motors are fine Refrigerant fine Compressor saver kit recommended due to high starting Amp draw Homeowners father will relay recommendations and they'll get back to us with any requested work
2020 Lennox gas furnace Checked all electrical connections Changed customer provided filter Drain was clear and draining, poured a gallon of water down Blower motor and wheel were acceptable Evaporator coil was acceptable 2020 Lennox Straight electric Dual run capacitor was within manufacturers range Electrical connections were acceptable Refrigerant levels were acceptable at this time Condenser coil was compacted with dust and debris Fan motor and blades were acceptable Cleaned debris out of the bottom Washed coil from inside out Waxed top of unit
Drainline was clogged running outside cleared it with ease, system operating normally.
System satisfied at 71, customer states unit not cooling at midday, found condenser coil extremely dirty, cleaned coil and system operating normally, drains clear, capacitor in tolerance, filter ok.
Front two south facing rooms are about 2 degrees warmer than rest of downstairs, ducting is inaccessible, recommend mini split or removing dry wall to take care of issue.
Safety was tripping causing the system to turn off periodically. Flushed outcthe drain line and now the system is back up and running.
