Today I performed a super tune-up on a 5-year-old heat pump unit checked everything indoor and out flushed the drain line with bleach and water washed the outdoor condensing coils changed and dated the filter inside I found slight separation beginning on the plenums to the unit needing a minor reseal there was also a good amount of organic growth inside of the unit solution would be an indoor air quality germicidal system outside the only issue I found was the compressor is over amping upon startup manufacturer specs for lra is 75 current amp draw is 94 discussed all options with the homeowner for indoor air quality duct cleaning compressor saver kit and reseal of the plenums unfortunately we were not able to take care of any of these repairs today homeowner is about to have surgery tomorrow and we'll have to call us back in January and March I have separated a couple of estimates for the homeowners interest for these two time periods the homeowner is also looking to get a quote for fr

Came to job for electrical inspection and everything was fine with house but surge was doubled up with the ac breaker and just quoted to move it to its own breaker

Arrived for evaluation At arrival system was down Transformer failed to send 24 - replaced transformer and added 3AMP fuse System tested with fuse reset and found primary electrical control unit measured at .2 - replaced the electrical unit for heat strips Second primary electrical control unit for heat strips replaced to high possible failure Stripped and installed new connection points due to original breaking when adjusting tightenes Original filter had not been replaced since last visit - current filter replaced on this visit Reccomended compressor saver kit Reccomended soft start kit Reccomended whole home surge protection Electrical service scheduled for electrical panel inspection and home electrical inspection on 12/16/24 9am-5pm System left on 70 heat at exit

For this super tune-up I inspected the air handler and condenser. Heating and cooling was where it should be and the system was functioning well. I recommend getting a duct cleaning and adding a UV Sanitation light to the supply plenum to purify the air before it enters the home, and get rid of the construction dust inside the plenums and ducts. The dual run capacitor on the condenser was out of tolerance by 10% so I recommend replacing that as well as adding a hard start kit to keep inrush amps draw low. Customer will discuss repairs with his wife and get back to us when they are ready.

For this super tune-up I inspected the air handler and condenser. For the most part all equipment was measuring within manufacturer specs and running well. I recommend adding insulation to the customer's attic as what they have right now is only about 8 inches thick and their energy bill is somewhat high and decompressed installation could be contributing to that higher bill. I also recommend replacing the defrost control board as it is burnt up and May fail during the winter. Lastly I recommended to the customer getting a duct cleaning as he stated he has not gotten one since they've lived in the house, since 2005.

Package unit wasn’t turning on compressor and condenser fan contactor was buzzing and no voltage coming through contactor replaced contactor

For the evaluation I showed up to the customer's home and they stated their unit was not cooling. When I turn the system on it was blowing out at 91° and the condenser was not running. When I opened up the condenser panel the contactor was sucked in however the compressor nor fan was running. The capacitor was good however I had no voltage coming into the unit or out of the disconnect. The disconnect was one of the old ones that used two copper fuses and one of those fuses was blown. I recommended to the customer replacing their old disconnect with a more modern breaker, and they elected to let me install one. When I installed it and turned power back on everything fired up and was running just fine.

Arrived to blockage in primary drain. Performed general function check of the system. No drain switch has been installed and heat pump has a weak auxiliary motor start. When that auxiliary motor start fails the system won’t turn on or cool the home. Customer only wanted to clear the drain at this time. All other repairs were refused. Service fee waived with repairs.

Arrived for CTU All components were working Recommend IAQ 200, 1000, duct cleaning, dual cap, compressor saver, and membership The outdoor cap was out of tolerance Customer wants to wait and maybe get a second opinion

Toilets acceptable, Drains acceptable During Inspection i found water shut off on water heater is not working Cust wants to hold off on repairs until water heater needs to be changed out Main drain is drain perfectly

10/28/23 Installed both UV Systems and cleaned off biological growth. One Ballast was faulty, and will need to return on Monday to Exchange for good Ballast. Found no other issues at this time.

Quoted customer on installing uv systems and duct cleanings for both units. Customer doesn't not want duct cleaning now, but does want two IAQ200 uv systems installed in both units. Will pay on install.

Replace main drain to sidewalk

Upon arrival system was in working condition. Looking at the package unit , all electrical connections and components are good. Capacitor within tolerance. Blower and coil are clean. Reseal toilet and run snake and camera in main yard. Found tree roots and busted pipe will be coming back on. September September 8th to do yard line repair.
