Outdoor unit was dirty but I was unable to clean due to all water hoses being frozen solid. Recommended an April aire filter upgrade kit to prevent further dust bypass and a new uv system that is more effective and efficient with a longer bulb lifespan. Customer is interested in pursuing my recommendations after upcoming renovation work in her house to make the most of my cleaning with the uv system. System heating as I left.

Installed compressor saver kit to prevent the compressor from overamping and reduce wear and tear. Recommended an iaq 200 uv system to kill biological growth in airflow and an April aire filter upgrade to prevent further dust bypass and extend the life of the system. System heating as I left.

Came to job For tune up and everything looked good had a brand new panel put in a few years ago and had the kitchen redone as well but didn't see any ground rods outside so talk to him about grounding

On this job I inspected the heater. He has an older style gas furnace made by lennox. The system has a considerable amount of rust build up. Flame sensor is wore out but working same for the ignitor. The blower motor is is in terrace and so is cap. The system could use a cleaning along with the duct work. I also repaired a noise coming from the induced motor.

For this super tune-up I inspected the furnace and condenser, all equipment was measuring with the manufacturer specs and running well. The customer stated it has been close to 10 years since they have had a duct cleaning so I recommend a duct cleaning to help with allergies and dust levels. I also recommend a float switch as they have had drain line clogs previously and a float switch will alert them sooner than the wet switch on the floor is able to.

Her panel is a federal Pacific and does need to be replaced but at this time she is not sure if it's a good financial investment for the amount of time she plans on staying

09/20/24 TS- cut AC drain line so I could access the drain below. Poured water to test drain and it backed all the way up. I ran my snake down the drain and cleared the clog. Afterwards I repaired the drain line with a union piece so it can be serviced easier in the future

On arrival both systems running and cooling. Upstairs furnace had drain line clog and water in emergency pan. Supply plenum has end capped duct work. Downstairs system had multiple holes in supply ducts. Upstairs system had acceptable refridgerant levels, downstairs system low on R22 with a 48 degree superheat. Recommended replacing downstairs system due to age and condition. Comfort advisor appointment scheduled for 10-12 Monday the 26th.
