Upon arrival, technician started with the condenser he washed and waxed. The unit technician found fan motor has oil stains is pulling high amps. Technician recommends replacing fan. Technician moved to the indoor furnace technician found one of the safeties is coming loose. The gas line is flex going into the system, as well as has no drain protection.
Customer states that home is not heating properly. Technician checked amp draws on heat strips. Two of the three heat strips are amping properly. The third heat strip does not have a circuit ran to the breaker and therefore has no power going to it. The supply plenum had separated from the air handler and was leaking hot air into the attic. Found multiple air leaks in the duct work as well. Technician sealed the plenum and temperatures improved. If problem persists the supply plenum and some of the duct work may need to be replaced.

Came to do estimate. Customers brother tony was here and basically just turned me away saying she will not be updating anything at this point. Explanied the dangers of keeping federal pacific panel. System functioning. UV bulb out. Federal pacific electrical needs to be inspected by an electrician. Box in garage room, outside, master closet and a small on to the left of indoor unit in the garage. Electrical inspection set 1/22/25 first call. Credit approved per office. If the electrician can add a 50amp pass-through indoor unit breaker that would be ideal. Breaker indoor was oddly wired having a wire from line to load. I removed it the wrong way, wire slipped out of my hand and shorted, tripping 60amp breaker found outside. I was able to flip it back on but felt the breaker is possibly compromised. System came back on. Attempted to wash condenser coils but water froze. Home needs new electrical.
Upon arrival Customer stated system would not shut off, home warranty changed the thermostat and condemned the blower motor as well. During evaluation found that the blower was constantly running because the heatstrips were getting a low voltage call. Traced call to Heatstrips back to thermostat. Thermostat wiring was not correct. Wired thermostat correctly and system ran and cycled on and off properly
