Job Locations
The system cut out on L2 hpco. This is due to clogged filters and poor air flow. The system is now back online and heating.
Came to job for electrical tune-up and everything was fine quoted to add search protector but parents were not there to really talk about it
Arrived onsite customer had a 75 gallon heater located in attic leaking inrepairable had to be replaced. Removed 75 gallon heater does not fit out of attic entrance set to the side for customer after draining fully. Installed new 50 gallon gas water heater in Attic tested after repair was made everything working properly.
Need to return Monday morning to replace current water heater located in attic.
On arrival compressor was thermally overloaded preventing the system from cooling or heating. Capicator was in tolerance and the system had adequate subcool and superheat. Recomended speaking with a comfort advisor about replacement of the full system. Compressor has been stressed out by the condition of the previous air handler likely causing the thermal overload. When I left system running and cooling.
For this super tune-up I inspected the air handler and condenser, all equipment was measuring with the manufacturer specs and running well. I recommend to the customer getting a duct cleaning as well as installing a whole home surge protector.
11/18/24 TS- installed new shutoff valves for both toilets and put in new fill valves inside toilet.
Replaced defective gfci. I stalled whole home surge protection. New membership.
For this heating tune-up I inspected the air handler and condenser, all equipment was measuring within manufacturers specs and running well. I recommended an IAQ 200 to go in the supply plenum to sanitize the air as well as a whole home surge protector to protect key components on her HVAC system and other electronics in the home. Customer wanted both and applied for financing however was unable to secure financing at this time. She would like to get the whole home search protector later on and we'll reach out whenever she is ready to have it installed.
Couldn't find anything wrong with the breaker or circuit as it was working at this time so I told her to call again when the light went out and keep it off so we can get to the solution
Arrived for evaluation System off at arrival Filter clean coils clean Leak found in indoor coil Reccomended coil replacement and refrigerant Reccomended home and budget plan Reccomended comfort advisor System condensor left on off at exit Indoor unit blower left on at exit
Showed up for a cooling tune up, however when I arrived the homeowner expressed concerns about a notification they were getting at their thermostat, was being removed from the circuit to the float switch in the attic caused by a clogged drain line. customer opted for clearing the drain line no other issues were found during the tune-up. the customer signed up for their membership by phone so I gave them information lining out what they get. everything is running and cool. next technician be aware there was a large wasp nest hidden next to the unit they got me but I got them back.
Showed up for an evaluation the capacitor for the compressor was out and the compressor is over amping on startup The coils are also restricted causing a higher head pressure and temperature causing more strain on the unit the defrost control board is also showing signs of heat ware The customer took all recommendations today to keep their unit running and they are going to look into their paperwork with the builder and see about replacement under warranty if that is not possible they will call us back to discuss options before the first of the year replace the dual run capacitor it is now under lifetime warranty installed a compressor saver kit also now covered under warranty thoroughly cleaned the outdoor coils everything is back together everything is running
Arrived for evaluation Refrigerant is good Delta 18 Replaced warranty capacitor Original capacitor 0 MFD Filter needs to be changed out - filter left out Homeowner will order new filter System cooling and left on cool at exit
Install 42k downflow mobile home propane use current filtration, includes code kit and duct cleaning
For this evaluation I showed up to the customer's home and she stated the house was at 84 degrees and thermostat was set to 69°. I started at the air handler where I had a 23° Delta, and the blower capacitor was out of tolerance. Customer allowed me to replace it. At the outdoor unit I had a 29⁰ SH, 15⁰ SC and amp draws were within range. Due to this house being a mobile home, I believe the 3 ton system is undersized and not cooling the house off efficiently like it should. I set up an appointment for a CA to come out and speak with the customer to do a heat load calculation and also discuss replacement options.
For this evaluation I showed up to the customer's home and she stated her thermostat was not connected to her app and she could not control the temperature from her phone. She stated she just got out of the hospital a few days ago, and before it was working fine but when she got back that's when she started having issues and her t-stat was set to 77⁰ but it was 82⁰ when I got here. I reconnected her ecobee app to the thermostat and checked everything else like a normal evaluation. At the condenser I had a 23⁰ Superheat, and 10⁰ Subcool, and after us were below the maximums. Three of the supply vents were closed one in the kitchen one of the living room and one in the spare bedroom, I open those up to hopefully assist in cooling the home faster.
Arrived onsite customer had a water heater in upstairs closet that was an 08 model never been flushed. Advised customer needs to be replaced writhing options for replacement. Customer said he had to leave to pick up son and to just email to him.
Home is only 5 years old everything new and operational still. Made recommendations for flood protection for home but also whole home water filtration as well. Customer said he will talk to his spouse and maybe get some of the items done in the future.
On arrival drain line was clogged preventing the system from cooling. Once the drain line was cleared the system ran and cooled with no issues.
Replaced delta shower valve cartridge in master bathroom. Tested after installation everything working property
On arrival system locked out due to high pressure L2 code. Once codes were reset system ran and cooled with no issues, refridgerant levels were perfect. Moved thermistor to prevent further faulty high pressure codes.
