Danny was exceptional to work with today. He explained all the concepts where they were easy to understand. He also took the time to show me where the underlying issues were within my system. The technician provided several jobs at my home this year. Comfort Air, heating, and plumbing have provided several money-saving gadgets that have saved me money on my electricity bill, clean air with the UV gadget, and now a water miser to keep my pipes from freezing. Homeowner declined float switch and drain repair at the moment but will consider it in the future. Came to house for electrical inspection and ended up talking to customer about smoke detectors beeping in house but customer is obvious of the issue and just stated that they have been in the middle of the process of pulling them down and putting new batteries in them but talk to her about swapping them all out to new ones if it persist and keeps happening and also talked about a surge protector on the panel they had one on their AC unit and we were just out here and put a disconnect on there water heater and that looks really good but talked about the surge protector but customer couldn't do that right now

For this job we performed a super tune-up. All mechanical and refrigerant portions of the unit were working within normal limits. There was dust buildup in the plenums and also mild dust on the blower. I spoke about benefits of having duct cleanings done periodically. Homeowners water heater was 13 years old, I reccomended a flush/clean by a plumber if it is not being done regularly. Homeowner declined scheduling any work but requested the report to be emailed. 7/30/25 For this job I performed an evaluation that was scheduled as a tune up the Delta was only an 8 and the I discovered the system was low on refrigerant. I performed a leak search and found a leak on a weld onthe suction line in the attic. Done for now. Need another tech scheduled to weld the leak shut and possibly add more refrigerant if it is low again. Warranty pnl confirmed.
Condensate line was clogged, unclogged it
Install pan strip
Tested condensate line with a gallon of water
It did not clog up again
Had a 19° delta, no further investigation needed

Did notice that the air quality is not good, started getting a runny nose when I entered the home
Spoke with homeowner about breathing issues, shared with me that she has asthma, told her about our air quality specialist that can help in minimizing or even eliminating the symptoms of polluted air

On arrival system had a 2 degree subcool with a 40 degree superheat. Adjusted refridgerant levels and superheat immediately reduced. Leak searched inside and out and had 0 pings. When I left the subcool was 6 with a superheat of 4.
Found bad board uncondenser that makes two wire condenser wire into a heat pump bypass board will need to come back Wednesday morning with help to run wire inside and outside collected today by credit card will collect for running wire when job is done on Wednesday

I have completed my electrical inspection the panel looks great they do have gfci's located in the proper spots I also have given them a estimate regarding putting up a fan well over 16 ft and at this time they have to think about that
For this job I tried to perform a evaluation. Homeowner stated that they had another company come a week ago and do an evaluation on the system. Homeowners stated that they did not need a full evaluation all they wanted was a quote for a drain pan, a drain safety, and a lift on the horizontal air handler in the Attic. Homeowner stated that they have a friend who works in HVAC and declined the estimate given. No further suggestions were made, homeowner just wanted the quote of those three things. For this job I performed a evaluation. Homeowner stated that it felt that on hotter days that the system was not cooling as efficiently as normal. I gauged up to check refrigerant levels superheat was high and I could visually see that a large portion of the evaporator coil was not sweating while the system was running. Suspect faulty TXV, holding for parts, additional tech needed. P&l warranty for customer confirmed till 2030. We need to call back and schedule recwork on the part comes in.
