Did extremely well
Garrett was very professional and thorough in his analysis of my systems. He is definitely an asset to your organization.
Mike R and his associate were extremely helpful. They were clean and worked with care on our old house. They were very informative about the status of our AC system and I would go with his team for our next service.
Blake did the best inspection of my AC units. No other person ever did a better job. He explained ever issue and non- issue.
My daughter Regina was trying to get her hot water heater fixed and mark and Javier left
Casey is very professional. He explained what he would be doing at the beginning of the service and then explained what he did when the service was completed. He answered all my questions. We have always had great service with Comfort Experts.
HVAC Technician rates Five (5) Stars; Call Center Systemics are abysmal
This was a system check on two units – one for the upstairs rooms and one for the downstairs rooms. The checks of the indoor half of each system were rapid and professionally performed. One difference from prior checks was reading the temperature of the conditioned air as it exited the evaporator and fan unit by inserting a temperature probe into the main duct. One system had air 20 degrees cooler than the ambient air in the house, the other system had was 14 degrees cooler. The outside systems (compressors) were then checked. The main checks seemed to be the status of the start capacitor and hosing down the coils. What seemed to be missing was a check of the freon pressures. The explanation was that the temperature drops on the inside units indicated adequate performance. I would have thought that the unit with only the 14 degree drop probably would indicate some issue with freon pressure or levels in the unit. I believe this is the first system check-up that has been performed on any of my heat pump units that did not include freon tests. I reserve judgement on how I well the checks indicate system health until next year. Don Shurtz
The field tech was cordial and professional. Ryan explained what he would be doing and answered any questions asked. The. seven hour window for service time is excessive. We have been platinum members for roughly ten years. A four hour window is what we previously had.
We've been using Comfort Experts for years. Good service and responsive.
Jordan did a great job determining what the issue was with our ac unit, and replacing what needed to be placed quickly. We appreciated that we were not charged an additional service fee, since someone had just come out to service our unit 2 1/2 weeks ago.
System was doing the exact same thing as it was last time, the capacitor was not the issue, Had to update cool cloud, turns up and gave me a code for locked router, changed filter, and installed Hard Start that was not installed from the get go, that was supposed to have been Thank you for choosing Comfort Experts, have a great day
Capacitor was out of tolerance replaced it, system worked again Thank you for choosing Comfort experts. Hope you have a great day.
Had a 17° temperature difference For this tuneup, I checked everything make sure everything is working good Wash the condenser Change the filter Air-conditioning unit is top-of-the-line didn’t really see anything out of the ordinary Only thing I did see was that there was no soft start or hard start kit installed There is surge protection on the disconnect Thank you for choosing Comfort experts. Hope you have a great day.
On arrival system running and cooling as intended. Indoor unit passed all testing. Outdoor unit passed all electrical testing but overamped on start up. I recommended a compressor saver kit to address this. Additionally the dual run capicators relief bump on top is sticking up. Recommended preventatively replacing dual run capicator to prevent downtime. Cust declined all recommended at this time.
On arrival system running and cooling producing 20 degrees delta. Indoor unit in good condition. Outdoor unit overamping on start up with a compressor saver kit on it that is designed to prevent this. It is overamping because the company who installed the new coil put an oversized capicator on outdoor unit which is causing it to slam on. I strongly recommended replacing the capicator before it causes the compressor to fail. Additionally I recommended a soft start kit to really help that compressor continue to run due to the damage it has already sustained. Contactor on outdoor unit was buzzing and pitted so I recommended preventatively replacing this. Customer declined all recommendations.
On arrival system running and cooling producing 23 degree delta. This triggered deeper refridgerant diagnostic. Found a subcool of 3 when the typical range on a Goodman is 6-8. Found no leaks at condenser. Large quantities of dust have accumulated on blower due to dust bypassing filter. Current uv system is unable to prevent bacterial growth from spreading via airflow. Recommended adding iaq 200 uvc system that cleans surfaces and airflow and an April aire filter to prevent dust bypass. Further recommended speaking with a comfort advisor about system replacement due to age and low refridgerant. Customer declined all recommendations at this time but would like to discuss air quality further in the future.
For this job I replaced the customer's condenser fan motor. Customer had 20⁰ of cooling upon departure and the system was running well.
Performed super tune up/evaluation Washed condensors and tightened connections Upstairs unit failed to turn on condensor Performed evaluation and found compressor saver kit had failed – cracked seal Code on condensor for compressor lock Replaced compressor saver kit also on downstairs unit due to cracked seal Replaced filters Deltas 17/18 All cooling and heating components are in tolerance Refrigerant is good Reccomended soft start upgrade kits Systems left on at exit
Customer has had a lot of remodeling done and everything seems good at this point
Home is 3 years old made recommendations for some flood protection on water heater.
Quoted $10,491 for a customer supplied 22k generator
Quoted a level 1 48k gas horizontal for $11344
When I got here system not heating condenser fan motor was not running while it was in heat, causing it ice over need to come back to change out condenser fan motor thermostat would not turn on heat strips so I changed it out system now heating via heat strips. Will need to come back to change out fan motor.
Investment has been made an email regarding the changing of five lights four of which are flush mounted light fixtures one of which is a recessed light that is already in a can that needs to be changed out with an LED adding in one plug brand new and putting in a plug underneath switches with an already existing box
I was her for a super tune up system had a Delta within range. There was no April air filter in the Plenum blower was a little dirty inducer motor within tolerance. All safeties are working refrigerant within range condenser was cleaned. Capacitor was out of tolerance so I changed it out system factory specs.
Came to customers house for tune up and talked about adding a search protector because fans went out from a surge and might come back to swap out fans when they get new ones
Arrived for super tune up Washed condensor and tightened connections Delta 20 Replaced filter All cooling and heating components are in tolerance Reccomended duct cleaning Reccomended IAQ200 UV upgrade Reccomended Advisor for duct replacement due to quality and strength of current duct work Homeowner understands caution for clean current soft duct work Damage could occur during process System left on heat at exit Added home and budget protection plan
Today I performed a super tune-up on a 8-year-old gas furnace under warranty checked everything indoor and out and heat mode and in cool mode flushed the condensate drain line with white vinegar replaced the air filter replaced the medium for the humidifier replaced the UV bulb found the compressor to be over amping and brought this up to the homeowner as we have recommended a compressor saver kit for years now he decided to take this recommendation today as well as signed up for the new home and budget protection plan
Heat tune up on 2005 Payne air handler checked all components filter was changed recently 1 of 3 heat strips not working thermostat needs to be updated and no water protection. recommend upgrade system due to age and condition as well as R22 refrigerant. Customer has home warranty that will fix or replace the system. Recommend having electrical panel serviced.
For this heating tune up I inspected the furnace and also took a peek at the condenser. Furnace overall was running well and he did like it should. I recommended to the customer replacing the UV bulb or upgrading the UV system as well as adding a hard start kit as a system is 12 years old and as they age there's more stress added to the compressor. I went over the true cost calculator with the customer and the price of repair versus replacement and at this time the customer chose to go ahead with just the recommendations at this time.
