Air Conditioning & Heating Services For Burleson Homes
The average temperature in Burleson, TX, is 90 degrees and above for a third of the year. With that much heat, reliable AC service is in high demand and of utmost importance. Residents run their air conditioning machines at the same rate as their neighbors, especially when the temps climb in the nineties and up. This can mean that thousands of units are breaking down across the area at the same time.
When things get hot in Texas, you need a company you can call for all of your air conditioning needs. Schedule an appointment today with Comfort Experts to have an experienced AC repair technician take a look at your AC unit. We provide full repair, maintenance and installation services to keep you cool without fail through the heat of the summer. And don’t worry, we’re there for you too when the mercury drops in the winter and your furnace needs attention.
Is Regular Maintenance Worth It In Burleson?
Summer lasts a long time in this area! It helps to have your AC prepared for the heat weeks or even months in advance. The last thing you want to do is have to worry about your air conditioning when it suddenly breaks down, especially when the temperature has hit an all-time high.
If you’re uncertain about whether or not your air conditioning system is working, you may need a routine checkup or AC repair. Neglecting maintenance and repair altogether can have some heavy consequences—consequences that are not worth experiencing. It’s much easier to have your air conditioning unit maintained in the early spring rather than waiting and risking your unit needing assistance at the same time as thousands of your neighbors.
AC Repair Vs. Replacement
When your AC breaks down you have one of two options: you could either opt for AC repair or replace your unit outright. While AC repair may seem like a more financially prudent maneuver, replacing your AC can save you money in the long run in the following circumstances.
1. Your AC is older than 10 years – On average an AC unit lasts about 10-15 years depending on use, environment and maintenance levels. If your unit is much older, you shouldn’t sink more money into repairing a dying unit.
2. It required R22 Freon – Because of the 2020 Freon Ban the coolant will become increasingly expensive as time moves on. While the use of the coolant isn’t illegal, you shouldn’t put more money into fixing a unit that requires the banned coolant and replace it with an AC that doesn’t rely on R22 Freon.
3. The unit requires repair after repair – Our Burleson AC repair team will always be happy to come in and fix your unit, but you shouldn’t need an AC repair every season. At some point, the umpteenth repair visit is going to be more expensive than a new unit so make the switch.
If you want to ensure that your air conditioner is working optimally, contact us today about our air conditioning services in Burleson, TX. We’ll be happy to help you get your air conditioning working again!

Install 42k hz gas with high efficiency filtration, code kit, supply plenum
For this super tune-up I inspected the air handler and condenser, all equipment except for the compressor capacitor was working well and intolerance. The compressor capacitor was out by about 8% measuring at 4.3 out of 5 MFD. Additionally the drain line was coming undone as it appeared the glue was not holding the PVC anymore and there's a potential for it to come undone with higher water volume flowing through the piping. I recommended to the customer repairing the PVC drain line, a compressor saver as his unit is 9 years old, and replacing the capacitor for the compressor.
For this super tuna if I inspected the air handler and condenser, all equipment was measuring within manufacturer's specs and running well. Customer had a wet switch in the return plenum, however I do recommend also installing a float switch to prevent water from even getting to that point. Additionally I recommend an IAQ 200 for a better air quality and kill any pathogens that may be circulating in the home.
Arrived for service evaluation System low on refrigerant and has a coil that freezes and blows ice and water into the supply plenum Supply plenum drips water down the wall Drain pan rusted Blower was not fully wired to the board - added wire to the fan circulation connection to correct that Ran system in cooling for 10 minutes Confirmed low refrigerant with and without filter in the unit Air flow issues to the front rooms are caused by duct sizing issues. Comfort Advisors will diagnose further and find solution Recommend system replacement due age and cost of repairs Comfort Advisor will be here later today

Cleared drain line
Tech Cody arrived to customer's home, I met Kelly and she guided me inside to the thermostat and indoor unit. She told me that last summer the home would only cool to 85 degrees and was told by the installer that it was because it is hot outside. The unit was running in cool mode with a temperature split of 15 degrees, then blower was functioning properly and the coil was clean. I checked the attic to look at the insulation and found that the insulation was low and the home would greatly benefit from more. I then attempted to run the heat pump in heat mode to get a refrigerant reading but when in heat mode the outdoor unit was not running. I showed Kelly this and advised her to talk with the warranty people about a improper installation, I also advised her to add insulation into the attic to help with cooling and heating the home.
Arrived for Eval and switch it to A STU All components were working but there was some concerns. Recommend doing a level 2 duct cleaning and gave customer options on getting it refurbished. Customer would like to talk to realtor before deciding. Customer is interested and if she does it she would like the Monday morning appointment if possible Customer asked about a military discount on the cleaning.
For this eval the customer stated the condenser and air handler would not turn on even when thermostat was turned down to 70°, the internal house temperature was 79 when I arrived. I went into the attic and inspected the air handler where I noticed it was running, however the condenser was not. I gauged up and measured the capacitor where it was testing below to MFD. I replaced the capacitor turned on and off the air handler and condenser and turned them back on, and the system started functioning as normal. I tested the air coming out of the vents and the air was coming out at 56 degrees. I left with the thermostat set to 70°.
System down due to low freon. Danny wants to talk about replacing the condensor.
Arrived to a no cool. 04 code on condenser indicates a locked rotor. Performed hard reset on system and it turned on. Subcooling was low indicating that the system was slightly low on refrigerant. Adjusted refrigerant levels under warranty. Refrigerant levels and temps were in range upon departure.
This system is not in good condition at all. The system is caked with insulation. There's rat droppings everywhere in the system . To bring it back up to speed we need to break down the system completly and clean every componet on an individual basis. For reference check photos
Removed old leaking coil, installed new coil, pressure tested, pulled vacuum and recharged unit. Left system in cooling Customer confirmed
For this super tune-up I inspected the air handler and condenser. For the most part everything was measuring within manufacturer specs, however the compressor capacitor was out of tolerance by more than 5%. I informed the customer the importance of replacing the capacitor, additionally I informed her the benefits of a UV system and air quality as well as functionality of her system. She expressed interest in cleaning her ducks as she tries to do it but cannot reach it with her vacuum hose. Lastly I recommended a compressor saver as her unit is 8 years old and amping pretty high. Customer requests mailing the forms and information that I took notes on as she does not have an email address
Tested all components dual run cap is measuring out of rating recommend replacing all other components in ratings and specs. Refrigerant level is super low 12 degree low sat 56 superheat and negative subcool changed filter. Recommend a system replacement if not estimates for repair have been sent via email.
Arrived for Two STU All components were working and in tolerance Recommend, IAQ 200, 1000, Blower clean, Coil clean, pan strip, and membership upgrade. Installed Both IAQ 200, one IAQ 1000. System working before I left. Waiting on second IAQ 1000 so we can install. Relayed Information to customer.
