Ian was a true blessing today! Im a New homeowner and only been in my home since April. So it was a huge surprise that i was having issues with my toilet backing up into my tub! Recently I had a great referral from Angies list and decided to do the same to find a plumber. Comfort experts were the first to call and Rebecca was extremely helpful in setting appointment. Within the hour I had a knock on my door and was greeted by Ian and his personable smile! Although I was hesitant to proceed after the quote Ian assured me that he was knowledgeable and his integrity spoke volumes! He treated me like a human being first and customer second which confirmed I made the right choice in moving forward with him completing the repair. Furthermore, Ian kept me informed with exactly what he was doing and completed the job in under an hour. For this job I did a super tune up. Deltas are good. Drains testing clear. Changed filters. Furnace components are good. Recommend pulling and cleaning blowers due to extreme dirt build up. Recommend replacing thermostats as they aren't intuitive and the buttons don't always register when you click. Outdoors refrigerant is good. Running amps are good. Cap and start kits are good. Cleaned coils. Recommend unit surge protection. Recommend replacing disconnects. Homeowner would like time to decide on work to be done. Systems cooling when I left.
Found mini split to be out of freon also found connections on free online to be loose went over options with customer to let customer know we would have full of vacuum and add freon and tighten up fittings gave customer estimate customer wants to wait at this time and possibly call the installer the installed it to see if they can fix it
For this job, I worked on a super tune-up on the heat pump system. I went through all the mechanical and electrical parts of the system and checked for maximum efficiency. As I was going to the system I notified the customer about his dust levels inside his house, I offered a duct clean, a blower clean, and the microbial mist for his ducts. Customer is really interested in doing this, however he needs to wait for tax money. A membership upgraded was also mentioned to the customer with all the benefits it has, customer approved and proceeded to convert his membership. For this job I spoke over the phone with customer about connecting to soft start. Homeowner is not at home at the moment so I offered to call later at his convenience. He declined and said he would call if he can’t figure out the instructions I gave.
For this job I did an evaluation. When I arrived indoor was blowing air and outdoor was not running. Contactor had 120 on both legs but not 240 together, diagnosed bad contactor. Replaced contactor and system was running without issue for over 20 minutes. Recommend start kit as compressor is over amping on startup. Homeowner had to leave early before we could further discuss. Came came to house for bugs not working in kitchen and customer had plugs open and ready and immediately found loose connections and talk to customer about it and everything and they wanted to fix it themselves because they were also wanting to replace that plug for a GFCI to GFCI protect the kitchen customer is just someone who likes to do a lot of things themselves explain to customer to call us back if there are any issues or if they have any questions or need anything
On this job I looked at both heat and cooling. The system works in heating. But it does not test intolernace in cooling. Heater has rust build up every where Evap coil is 20 years old and is rusted all over In cooling the superheat was 57 indicating the system is starved of refrigerant. The system will provide no cooling come summer time. After talk with Miss Nancy she is just not ready to replace it. Shes more likely to replace when the system produces no cooling 🪭

For this job I performed a super tune up on all units. No significant abnormalities were noted during inspection. I gave optic ns for u. Bulb replacements that were out of tolerance or iv upgrades and also soft start kits for lower amperage and use with generator. Homeowner had all UV bulbs replaced and was not interested in other UV system of soft starts at the moment. Cleaning comdensprs took longer than normal due to cotton wood trees in the area but all units were successfully cleaned. Left all units off at the time of departure. For this car I performed a super tune-up. I noted over amperage at startup of the unit, air leakage coming from improperly sealed ducts, and low insulation. Homeowner requested information about insulation. The estimates have how much inches of insulation would be added and we use pink fiberglass insulation. Owner requested estimates for soft start, insulation different levels, duct sealing, and an electrician to give an estimate. Electrician scheduled for Friday the 13th to give a estimate for installing 4-6 LED lights.

I've returned back to reseal both sides of the plenum. The system is now sealed and ready for work.
Today looked at both heating and cooling. The system test intolerance all the way around. Some concerns I have System needs at this point a whole system seal. It ripping apart at the return and supply. She will be having a level 2 duct cleaning to go along with her whole system reseal. All this will be done Feb 11 th at 10 am.

Came out for a membership Plumbing visit homeowner was very selective in what she wanted me to touch and not touch for fear of problems arising due to the age of the plumbing in the home I did find several issues that I brought to her attention however she wanted to focus on the things that she was already concerned with before I arrived which was replacing the shower head and snaking the vanities in the master and the hall bath unfortunately the vanities back up to each other directly so the snake travels down one drain and up the other I have no control over the auger head making turns in the wall I even tried using a Shop-Vac to suck the clog out to no avail though I did get several gallons of black out of the drain line it's still drains very slow left an estimate for going underneath the house cutting open the pipe and running the snake both ways she understands this is a very conservative best case scenario and that we could get underneath the house and see a larger issue with th

Came to house to look at all sorts of things talk to customer about doing diagnosis on circuit that wasn't working and I was having issues with plugs took a look at it for a second and got a plug working but couldn't get any of the other ones working so coated him to come back with Matt to do a diagnosis and figure out the issue and also gave him a bunch of other clothes to do a bunch of other work that he was wanting done like swapping out a bunch of his under cabinet lights in his kitchen that aren't working or get the transformers for them to get them to work also had an issue with this doorbell but found out that it wasn't an issue and everything is working fine for him but since customer a bunch of quotes but customer was just busy and had to hop on a work call and couldn't talk to him more about the estimates but sent him the quotes and everything and he does want to do it so he will reach out as soon as he's ready

Flame sensor has significant corrosion, recommend cleaning or replacing. Significant dust build up on blower, recommend pulling and cleaning. Outdoors, refrigerant is good. Running amps are good. Cap is good. Hard start has failed. Homeowner mentioned interest in having AC unit functioning with his backup generator, recommend adding soft start to bring amp draw low enough to start up. Washed coil. Recommend surge protection. Spoke with homeowner about updating current membership plan to H&B plan. Homeowner may be interested about replacing his generator/adding solar in the future. Homeowner declined work for today. System off when I left.
102 customer's house for police said by AC tech for plugs not working in house in bathrooms and got here and bathroom plugs were not working but Breaker was tripped in garage talk to customer about it and got information on whenever she would plug in a hair dryer or something with a little bit higher amperage pool it would trip immediately and after pulling the cover off found that they had the neutral on the breaker not even tighten down at all and was just loose dangling around and was causing it to arc and trip the breaker So just tighten down the neutral wire and everything is working panel was a federal Pacific that but that is a lot for her right now but panel look really neat for what it was other than the loose connection there was no other issues other than not having a main breaker on the panel or disconnect on the outside talk to her about doing a membership but customer was not interested at all in it
