I contacted Comfort Experts for their $49 A/C tune up special. Justin P arrived on time and explained in detail the scope of the inspection and services provided. Justin was very attentive as he not only listened to my questions but then answered all of them with great detail. Justin performed the inspection and cleaning of our A/C system and provided a very detailed assessment of his findings complete with detailed photos. I couldn’t have been happier with his work ethic and professionalism. If I were a business owner, he would be exactly the type of employee I would hope to hire! Excellent service, very knowledgeable, and a great attitude. Thank you Justin, I have found my new A/C service company moving forward!
Want to thank Michael for his quick response to my AC issues. Quick to diagnose the issues showed his expertise in ac repair. Explained everything needed that I easily understood to make the repairs at a reasonable price and had us up and running in a short period of time. Michael made me feel like family in the short period of time he was here which was just another reason why I will always use the services of Comfort Experts for my future AC repairs.
Colby was amazing with his service. He showed up in a timely manner and was very informative. Colby was able to detect the false trigger by the unit and was able to resolve our issues fairly quickly with little to no fuss. We would definitely recommend Colby to anyone.
Justin was on time and very polite. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain every aspect of the needed repairs. Cleaned my outer system and looks great.
Comfort Experts were great!
I noticed in late afternoon on a hot summer day (a Sunday no less) that the house was getting warmer, then noticed the AC wouldn't even kick on.
I called their after hours office line & they had someone out very quickly.
The technician, Garrett, was polite, knowledgeable & ensured I understood what was happening & what he needed to do throughout. I trusted what he was telling me based on my limited knowledge from hearing my dad's conversations (a former Heat & AC technician), no "single lady at the mechanic shop" shenanigans.
I will definitely be calling them again when the need arises in the future.
Cooper was amazing. He did a great job! He was very personable, professional, thorough and helpful explained all the work and processes. Both installs look and work great! Huge thank you.
Danny with Comfort Experts out of the Kennydale office was fantastic. He checked everything and replaced a part that was old and not working properly. I’ve been satisfied for years. I pay my monthly fee and have done so for years . It has paid for itself many times over.
Alex was friendly and professional. The crew was quiet and cleaned up very well after their work was done. All members of the crew were nice to my dogs. He explained all the work that was done, showed me pictures and explained why they moved from one size duct to another. When they left, he made sure I understood what work was done and insured that the house was clean. I would have that crew in my house again to make repairs.
Mark W & Hunter are courteous and professional. They repaired our AC and even took care of some maintenance to help prevent future issues. It's great to feel cool again! Many thanks to these fine gentlemen.
Nathan was amazing!! He came out to look at why my outlets weren’t working. He was very thorough and nice. He found out the outlet itself had gone bad and that was the problem. I declined to have him replace the outlet only because I know to replace it myself and the price was out of my range for something I can do on my own. Would definitely use them again in the future though.

When to Call an Electrician in Richland Hills

Electric issues rarely stay small. That flicker or faint smell you’ve been ignoring? It can turn into something much bigger if left alone.

Here’s a detailed list of when you should call us:

  1. Breakers keep tripping. A circuit breaker that constantly flips is your system’s way of shouting that something’s overloaded or shorting out.
  2. Outlets are warm or buzzing. That’s never normal. That hum or heat means something’s going wrong behind the scenes.
  3. Lights dim when large appliances turn on. If your AC kicks in and your kitchen lights take a dip, your panel might need an upgrade.
  4. You smell something burning. That faint, plastic-like smell near outlets or switches means something is overheating. Shut off the power and call us.
  5. You get shocked when touching switches. Even a small zap from a light switch is a warning sign—usually faulty grounding or a wiring issue.
  6. You use extension cords daily. If your home doesn’t have enough outlets for your daily routine, it’s time to add more—safely and professionally.
  7. You’re upgrading appliances or adding a new room. New power demands need the correct wiring. We’ll make sure your system is up to the task.
  8. You just moved into an older house. If your home hasn’t had an electrical inspection in years, we’ll check for outdated parts and hidden risks.
  9. You want peace of mind. Sometimes, it’s not about fixing a problem. It’s about knowing your family’s safety and that everything works like it should.

Electricity isn’t something to gamble with. If something feels off, give us a call. We’d rather check it early than fix something after it fails.

What Makes Us the Electrical Genius?

We show up prepared, get to the point, and don’t waste time. Being the Electrical Genius isn’t just a label—it’s how we approach every call. We solve problems, explain the why, and never cut corners.

We keep our vans stocked. We clean up after ourselves. And we never leave a job half done. That’s how we’ve built trust with homeowners all across Richland Hills. We do it right—the first time.

One Job That Says It All

A family off Spruce Drive gave us a ring after their kitchen lights started flickering every time they ran the dishwasher. It had gotten so bad they were doing dishes in the dark. We came out, traced the issue to a poorly installed circuit, and found signs of melted insulation in the wiring. We replaced the damaged section, rerouted the load, and installed a dedicated circuit for the dishwasher. Now, the kitchen’s safe, bright, and working better than ever.

They told us, “You didn’t just fix it—you made us feel safe again.” That’s what this work is all about.

What It's Like to Work With Us:

  1. You call. A real person answers, not a robot.
  2. We schedule. You pick a time that works, and we show up on time.
  3. We diagnose. No guesswork. We will find the issue and walk you through the fix.
  4. We repair or install. We come ready, with tools in hand.
  5. We clean up. You won’t find bits of wire or drywall on your floor.

Richland Hills Electrician FAQs

That’s usually an overloaded circuit. We can add a new one or redistribute the load to keep things running smoothly.

You can try, but you could create a hazard if the box isn’t rated for a fan or the wiring is outdated. We’ll install it safely.

Not really. Whole-home surge protection protects you against power surges from lightning or outages.

Most take a day. We handle permits, installation, and cleanup. That day, you’ll have a safer, more reliable system.

Yes. Two-prong outlets lack grounding. We can upgrade them to grounded three-prong outlets for safety and code compliance.
