Electricians in Ponder, TX – Your Local Electrical Heroes

You’re watching the game. Fourth quarter, tie score. Your team’s about to score.

Then everything goes dark.

Not just the TV. The whole house. Complete silence except for your neighbor’s porch light mocking you through the window.

You stumble to the breaker box in the dark, flip what looks like the right switch. Nothing. Try another one. Still nothing.

That’s when you realize you don’t need just any electricians in Ponder. You need someone who actually knows what they’re doing and won’t make things worse while trying to figure it out.

We’re Comfort Experts. We get calls like this every single week. Power goes out, lights start acting weird, something electrical decides to quit at the worst possible moment.

People call us the Electrical Genius because we actually fix the problem instead of just swapping parts until something works.

Electricity’s not something you mess around with. It can hurt you, burn your house down, or just drive you crazy when it stops working.

Electricians
We have been in this house 25 years and comfort experts have serviced our furnace and hvac sence the very beginning. Mike was wonderful as expected. We have always had great service and he more than lived up to our expectations.
Daniel A. was courteous and professional while he worked today. He went above and beyond to help us understand the issue with our air unit. He worked quickly and quietly to assess the problem. Before he left, he made sure we understood the ways we could best maintain our air unit.
Danny was so great! He was very patient explaining all of our options helping us to resolve our problems with our upstairs ac unit. He got us up and running in less than 20 min with real solutions to resolve the issue. Very thankful for employees like Danny. Keep hiring people just like him and this will continue to be a growing and profitable business model. Thank you again
Tyler is an easy person to talk with. Very knowledgeable. He explained the maintenance plan to me which I purchased. He also installed a new breaker which was the reason that I called. It seems to me that you have a very professional business. Thank you.
Patrick Thompson
Mark did a great job on our heating tune-up. He replaced our filter and checked all the safety features. He was thorough, professional and friendly. Highly recommend!!
Toby is the best, most respectful and knowledgeable advisor we have ever had. If you need heating or air, he is your guy! Thank you Comfort Experts for hiring amazing employees.
Jeremy came by to check out our AC and we ended up needing a whole new unit. He took the time to walk us through all the options and got us such a good deal that we couldn’t say no. He was awesome to work with and made the whole process super easy. If you need a new AC, Jeremy is the one to call!
Mark D and Tyler B were very professional and knowledgeable. My electric bill had jumped and I knew something had been going on with the outside unit sounding bad. Mark explained what happened and got me fixed right away.
Thanks for the great service!
Michael and Alonso came out to assess our AC which had stopped cooling in the upstairs for about a week and turns out the "return duct" had some damage of the metal ring that goes around to I guess keep it secure and hold its cylinder shape. It's impossible to know when or how it got damaged whether by the installers or the duct cleaners we had in earlier this year. Although they weren't able to fix the issue, they were able to identify the problem and get me scheduled for their Expert to come out the next day to fully assess. They were professional, seemed knowledgeable and quick to complete the assessment and get me on the schedule.
I've owned my house for about five years now, and have trusted Comfort Experts to do much of the repair and maintenance work on it, with outstanding results.

But nothing compared to the scope of my most recent project, a partial re-plumbing of all the fast-deteriorating (and close to breaking) galvanized pipe running throughout my 1920s house – most of which was creatively installed in bizarre ways, many years ago.

So of course, Comfort Experts was my first call.

And I'm incredibly glad it was, because as challenge after challenge was uncovered, the Comfort Expert team worked through and overcame each of them – from an oddly-placed waterline, to the excavation and installation of a new water main through a yard filled with rock and tree roots (shout-out to C&R Excavation!), to reaching barely-accessible areas of the crawl space under the house to replace difficult-to-reach pipes. Etc.

It was a true team effort, and the Comfort Experts technicians handled everything in stride with determination, patience and professionalism.

Tyler B. – only two weeks into his role at the time – was already insulating pipes, navigating the crawl space, and digging holes like he'd been on the job for months.

Zach answered the call when he was needed; squeezing into ridiculously small spaces to access areas otherwise impossible to reach.

Daniel was with me every step of the way, and I was less anxious about the entire project knowing that it was in his very capable hands. He confidently navigated each unforeseen issue – and there were many – while patiently answering my questions and constantly troubleshooting issues with the team.

And then there was Mark W., who was everywhere and seemingly capable of doing everything. He was in the attic running a new drain line for my HVAC. He was under the house installing new pipe. He was hopping into holes with a jackhammer to assist the excavation team. He had a tool for everything, and an answer to every question, and his high standards for excellence – for his own work and that of his team – also gave me great peace of mind.

What started out as a seemingly simple project ended up taking a full 3.5 days – but I am so grateful that Comfort Experts got it done, and was able to do it right. My 100-year old house will stay standing a little while longer thanks to them!

When to Call an Electrician in Ponder

Your electrical system gives you warning signs. Most folks ignore them until something dramatic happens. Like losing power during the biggest game of the year.

Don’t be most folks. Here’s what to pay attention to:

  1. Breakers that keep tripping: They’re trying to protect your house from something dangerous
  2. Lights doing the disco dance: Flickering, dimming, strobing when you shouldn’t have a light show
  3. Outlets making weird noises: Buzzing, humming, crackling sounds don’t belong
  4. Burning smells from anywhere electrical: Stop using whatever’s making that smell and call somebody
  5. Outlets or switches that feel hot: They should never be warm to the touch
  6. Getting zapped by light switches: Even tiny shocks aren’t normal
  7. Power surges that keep happening: Your electronics are getting beat up every time
  8. Wiring older than your car: Houses from the 70s and 80s weren’t built for today’s power needs
  9. Outdoor electrical stuff acting up: Pool equipment, landscape lights, anything that faces the weather
  10. Need more outlets: Extension cords everywhere means it’s time for real outlets
Adding big appliances: Hot tubs, electric car chargers, workshop equipment
Sparks when you plug things in: This one’s obvious but people ignore it anyway

Had this customer whose daughter’s bedroom kept losing power. Other electrician said it was just a breaker problem. We found frayed wiring in the attic that was sparking against the insulation.

Could’ve burned the house down if we hadn’t caught it when we did.
That’s the thing about electrical problems. They don’t get better on their own. They just get more dangerous.

Why Folks Call Comfort Experts

Because we answer the phone when you call. Shocking concept in the electrical business.

Because we show up when we say we will. Another revolutionary idea, apparently.

Because we explain what we’re doing in words regular people understand. Your house, your right to know what’s happening.

Because our electricians are licensed, insured, and actually know their stuff. We don’t send apprentices to learn on your emergency.

Because we clean up after ourselves like normal humans.

Because the price we quote is the price you pay. None of this “Oh, that’ll be extra” nonsense.

Being the Electrical Genius isn’t about showing off. It’s about caring enough to do the job right and keep your family safe.

Why Highland Village Calls Us First

Customer called about his kitchen outlets not working. “Just stopped yesterday,” he says. Needed them for coffee maker, microwave, all the usual stuff.

Get there, check the outlets – nothing. Test the GFCI outlet in the bathroom – it had tripped. Reset it, everything worked fine.

Could’ve been a thirty-second phone call if he’d known to check that first. But that’s why we’re here – to know the stuff you don’t have to know.

Point is, sometimes the “big electrical emergency” has a simple fix. Sometimes it doesn’t. Either way, we figure it out fast.

Here's How We Do Business

  • We show up when we say we will
  • Our guys are clean, polite, and respectful
  • Our trucks are loaded with parts to finish jobs
  • You know the price before we start – no surprises
  • We give you straight answers, not sales pitches

You don’t want some guy scratching his head at your electrical panel for two hours. We come prepared to solve your problem.
