Electricians in Lipan, TX | Comfort Experts – Home of the Electrical Genius

Electricians in Lipan aren’t all cut from the same cloth. At Comfort Experts, we’ve built a reputation for showing up with purpose, getting straight to the point, and fixing problems without turning your house upside down. People around here call us the Electrical Genius, and we’ve earned that title by doing the job right—every time.

We’re not the kind of team that drags out a project or leaves you scratching your head. We listen, fix, and ensure your home feels safe and sound before we head out. If it sparks, hums, flickers, or flat-out won’t turn on, we’ve handled it—and we’re ready to hold yours, too.

Jeremy came by to check out our AC and we ended up needing a whole new unit. He took the time to walk us through all the options and got us such a good deal that we couldn’t say no. He was awesome to work with and made the whole process super easy. If you need a new AC, Jeremy is the one to call!
Mark D and Tyler B were very professional and knowledgeable. My electric bill had jumped and I knew something had been going on with the outside unit sounding bad. Mark explained what happened and got me fixed right away.
Thanks for the great service!
Michael and Alonso came out to assess our AC which had stopped cooling in the upstairs for about a week and turns out the "return duct" had some damage of the metal ring that goes around to I guess keep it secure and hold its cylinder shape. It's impossible to know when or how it got damaged whether by the installers or the duct cleaners we had in earlier this year. Although they weren't able to fix the issue, they were able to identify the problem and get me scheduled for their Expert to come out the next day to fully assess. They were professional, seemed knowledgeable and quick to complete the assessment and get me on the schedule.
I've owned my house for about five years now, and have trusted Comfort Experts to do much of the repair and maintenance work on it, with outstanding results.

But nothing compared to the scope of my most recent project, a partial re-plumbing of all the fast-deteriorating (and close to breaking) galvanized pipe running throughout my 1920s house – most of which was creatively installed in bizarre ways, many years ago.

So of course, Comfort Experts was my first call.

And I'm incredibly glad it was, because as challenge after challenge was uncovered, the Comfort Expert team worked through and overcame each of them – from an oddly-placed waterline, to the excavation and installation of a new water main through a yard filled with rock and tree roots (shout-out to C&R Excavation!), to reaching barely-accessible areas of the crawl space under the house to replace difficult-to-reach pipes. Etc.

It was a true team effort, and the Comfort Experts technicians handled everything in stride with determination, patience and professionalism.

Tyler B. – only two weeks into his role at the time – was already insulating pipes, navigating the crawl space, and digging holes like he'd been on the job for months.

Zach answered the call when he was needed; squeezing into ridiculously small spaces to access areas otherwise impossible to reach.

Daniel was with me every step of the way, and I was less anxious about the entire project knowing that it was in his very capable hands. He confidently navigated each unforeseen issue – and there were many – while patiently answering my questions and constantly troubleshooting issues with the team.

And then there was Mark W., who was everywhere and seemingly capable of doing everything. He was in the attic running a new drain line for my HVAC. He was under the house installing new pipe. He was hopping into holes with a jackhammer to assist the excavation team. He had a tool for everything, and an answer to every question, and his high standards for excellence – for his own work and that of his team – also gave me great peace of mind.

What started out as a seemingly simple project ended up taking a full 3.5 days – but I am so grateful that Comfort Experts got it done, and was able to do it right. My 100-year old house will stay standing a little while longer thanks to them!
Zak came the same day and was very professional and informative about the issues we had with our AC unit. Even though we fixed our problem without needing to use the services recommended...I still do recommend Comfort Experts(Zak L) for coming out and being patient. In the future I will contact Comfort Experts if needed Thank you
Adam did a great job replacing our aging water heater. He was quick and efficient and answered all our questions thoroughly. He gave us a tutorial when he was finished and made sure we understood all the components. Now we have greater peace of mind!
Adam did such a great job installing our new water heater today. He was very quick, very efficient, and he took great care to show us all about each component. He answered all our questions and gave us a great tutorial when he was finished. Zach also was a great helper, because that old water heater was HEAVY!! Adam is another reason we stay with Hobson Comfort Experts. Highly recommend!!
Cooper not only repaired the major issue, he made sure to address anything he could during initial inspection. Gramps (100yrs this year) really needed that snake treatment for his toilet, and I am so happy to have a free-flowing home again!!
Alex and Kealan did an amazing job on my mini split install. Thank y'all so much for your attention to detail and excellent workmanship. If you are getting anything installed by Comfort Experts, know that you will be taken care of.
Professional, knowledgeable, and arrived within timeframe given. I appreciated using their friendly service from the first phone call to receiving this survey. I was able to clearly understand all the steps needed to getting my AC to perform at its best. Yes, I would recommend and use them again.

When to Call an Electrician in Lipan, TX

Some electrical issues are loud and obvious. Others whisper.

Either way, here’s your cheat sheet for knowing when it’s time to give us a call:

  1. Your lights flicker or dim without warning: This can point to loose wiring or overloaded circuits.
  2. Outlets that feel hot or show burn marks are not normal: They are a warning that something’s failing behind the scenes.
  3. You hear buzzing from switches, outlets, or panels: Electricity shouldn’t make noise. That sound is your signal to stop using it and call us.
  4. You’ve got breakers that trip too often: One trip might be a fluke. Repeated tripping means something pulls too much or the wiring goes bad.
  5. You smell something burning and can’t find the source: Don’t wait around. Flip the main switch and call us. Fast.
  6. Your home was built before the 1980s and still has its original wiring: Today’s appliances need more power. That old wiring might not keep up.
  7. You need to install a new outlet, ceiling fan, or EV charger: We make sure it’s safe, code-compliant, and wired for long-term use.
  8. Half your house loses power, but your neighbors are fine: That’s usually a panel or circuit issue, not the electric company.
  9. You rely on too many extension cords: That’s a sign your home needs more outlets or upgraded circuits.

If something electrical gives you a weird feeling, trust your gut. Most major electrical fires start as something “small.” Let’s stop that train before it leaves the station.

Why We're Called the Electrical Genius

The nickname wasn’t our idea. Our customers started using it after years of clean, no-nonsense electrical work. We walk in with a clear head, figure out the problem, and solve it without drama.

We’ve been in attics in August, under crawlspaces during storms, and up ladders fixing outdoor lighting at night. We show up ready—no excuses. And we talk like humans, not instruction manuals.

At Comfort Experts, we’re proud to be the Home of the Electrical Genius. It’s more than a catchphrase—how we do business.

A Real Job That Stuck With Us

A Lipan rancher called us after his shop lights kept blowing out. He thought it was just cheap bulbs. Turned out, the wiring feeding his outbuilding was frayed and arcing underground. We pulled the old wire, reran the circuit in conduit, and safely returned his entire property.

He told us later that he’d been replacing light bulbs for months and “lived with it.” Don’t do that. Don’t live with it.

What to Expect from Our Visit

We believe in showing up right and getting out of your way quickly.

Here’s how our process works:

  1. We listen. You tell us what’s been happening—we take it seriously.
  2. We check. We test, inspect, and identify the root cause.
  3. We explain. We give you honest answers, not electrical jargon.
  4. We fix. We do clean, code-compliant work. Every wire, every screw.
  5. We walk through the result. You’ll know exactly what we did, why, and how it helps.

Lipan Electrician FAQs

Absolutely. No job is too small. If something is not working properly, we’re happy to come fix it.

Most installs take under two hours. If we’re replacing a light fixture, we’ll usually be done even faster.

We don’t recommend it. Working inside the panel is dangerous, even with the main shut-off.

Yes. We always do outlet additions and new circuit installs—especially for workshops and garages.

If it happens every time, we recommend installing surge protection and checking your connections. We can help with both.
