Electricians in Lake Worth, TX | Comfort Experts – Home of the Electrical Genius

Electricians in Lake Worth are the unsung heroes of our homes, and at Comfort Experts, we wear that badge proudly. We’re not just folks with wires and tool belts—we’re the kind of team that shows up with a smile, solves problems without the jargon, and leaves things better than we found them. Around here, we’re called the Electrical Genius for a reason. We’ve earned it.

We know electrical work isn’t flashy. You don’t think about your outlets, panels, or flickering lights until they act up. But when they do? Oh, you’ll notice. And that’s where we come in.
Let’s talk about when to give us a call—no guesswork is needed.

Electricians
Jeremy came by to check out our AC and we ended up needing a whole new unit. He took the time to walk us through all the options and got us such a good deal that we couldn’t say no. He was awesome to work with and made the whole process super easy. If you need a new AC, Jeremy is the one to call!
Mark D and Tyler B were very professional and knowledgeable. My electric bill had jumped and I knew something had been going on with the outside unit sounding bad. Mark explained what happened and got me fixed right away.
Thanks for the great service!
Michael and Alonso came out to assess our AC which had stopped cooling in the upstairs for about a week and turns out the "return duct" had some damage of the metal ring that goes around to I guess keep it secure and hold its cylinder shape. It's impossible to know when or how it got damaged whether by the installers or the duct cleaners we had in earlier this year. Although they weren't able to fix the issue, they were able to identify the problem and get me scheduled for their Expert to come out the next day to fully assess. They were professional, seemed knowledgeable and quick to complete the assessment and get me on the schedule.
I've owned my house for about five years now, and have trusted Comfort Experts to do much of the repair and maintenance work on it, with outstanding results.

But nothing compared to the scope of my most recent project, a partial re-plumbing of all the fast-deteriorating (and close to breaking) galvanized pipe running throughout my 1920s house – most of which was creatively installed in bizarre ways, many years ago.

So of course, Comfort Experts was my first call.

And I'm incredibly glad it was, because as challenge after challenge was uncovered, the Comfort Expert team worked through and overcame each of them – from an oddly-placed waterline, to the excavation and installation of a new water main through a yard filled with rock and tree roots (shout-out to C&R Excavation!), to reaching barely-accessible areas of the crawl space under the house to replace difficult-to-reach pipes. Etc.

It was a true team effort, and the Comfort Experts technicians handled everything in stride with determination, patience and professionalism.

Tyler B. – only two weeks into his role at the time – was already insulating pipes, navigating the crawl space, and digging holes like he'd been on the job for months.

Zach answered the call when he was needed; squeezing into ridiculously small spaces to access areas otherwise impossible to reach.

Daniel was with me every step of the way, and I was less anxious about the entire project knowing that it was in his very capable hands. He confidently navigated each unforeseen issue – and there were many – while patiently answering my questions and constantly troubleshooting issues with the team.

And then there was Mark W., who was everywhere and seemingly capable of doing everything. He was in the attic running a new drain line for my HVAC. He was under the house installing new pipe. He was hopping into holes with a jackhammer to assist the excavation team. He had a tool for everything, and an answer to every question, and his high standards for excellence – for his own work and that of his team – also gave me great peace of mind.

What started out as a seemingly simple project ended up taking a full 3.5 days – but I am so grateful that Comfort Experts got it done, and was able to do it right. My 100-year old house will stay standing a little while longer thanks to them!
Zak came the same day and was very professional and informative about the issues we had with our AC unit. Even though we fixed our problem without needing to use the services recommended...I still do recommend Comfort Experts(Zak L) for coming out and being patient. In the future I will contact Comfort Experts if needed Thank you
Adam did a great job replacing our aging water heater. He was quick and efficient and answered all our questions thoroughly. He gave us a tutorial when he was finished and made sure we understood all the components. Now we have greater peace of mind!
Adam did such a great job installing our new water heater today. He was very quick, very efficient, and he took great care to show us all about each component. He answered all our questions and gave us a great tutorial when he was finished. Zach also was a great helper, because that old water heater was HEAVY!! Adam is another reason we stay with Hobson Comfort Experts. Highly recommend!!
Cooper not only repaired the major issue, he made sure to address anything he could during initial inspection. Gramps (100yrs this year) really needed that snake treatment for his toilet, and I am so happy to have a free-flowing home again!!
Alex and Kealan did an amazing job on my mini split install. Thank y'all so much for your attention to detail and excellent workmanship. If you are getting anything installed by Comfort Experts, know that you will be taken care of.
Professional, knowledgeable, and arrived within timeframe given. I appreciated using their friendly service from the first phone call to receiving this survey. I was able to clearly understand all the steps needed to getting my AC to perform at its best. Yes, I would recommend and use them again.

When to Call an Electrician in Lake Worth

We’ve been around long enough to know the signs.

Here’s your go-to list of when it’s time to ring us up:

  1. Lights flickering like a haunted house: If bulbs dim or flicker, especially when you run appliances, you might face overloaded circuits or loose wiring.
  2. Outlets: that feel warm or don’t work at all are a warning sign. Warm outlets or dead plugs can lead to fire hazards.
  3. Buzzing noises from your breaker box or walls: Electricity should never sound like a hive of angry bees.
  4. Tripped breakers that won’t reset: Constant breaker issues could point to deeper wiring concerns.
  5. You’re still using two-prong outlets: It’s time to upgrade to grounded three-prong outlets. Your electronics will thank you.
  6. Need a ceiling fan installed without chasing wires through the attic: We’ll get it done faster than you can unwrap the blades.
  7. Home renovation or room addition: You need safe, code-compliant wiring. We handle that.
  8. New EV charger installs: We set it up correctly without frying your panel.
  9. Old home, old wiring: Houses over 30 often need electrical updates—especially if you smell something burnt or see discolored outlets.
  10. You’re tired of resetting clocks after every storm: Whole-home surge protection is your new best friend.

We don’t play the waiting game. If you’ve got any of the signs above, it’s best to tackle them head-on. Waiting it out rarely pays off—unless you like surprises in the form of blown circuits or singed wires.

Why We're Called the Electrical Genius

At Comfort Experts, we’ve been lighting up Lake Worth homes for decades—literally. We train hard, show up ready, and don’t settle for “good enough.” When folks started calling us the Electrical Genius, we leaned into it. It’s not just a name—it’s how we work.

Need a quick fix or a major overhaul? We treat every call like the most important one of the day. Because for you, it is.

One of Our Favorite Calls

Last summer, we got a call from a Lake Worth couple whose porch lights flickered whenever their AC kicked on. Their handyman buddy said, “Just ignore it; it’s harmless.” We disagreed. It turns out that their breaker panel had scorch marks. One day later, a few swapped wires might’ve spelled disaster. We fixed it, rewired the outdoor lights, and upgraded their system to code. That family? Still sends us a Christmas card.

That’s the kind of difference the Electrical Genius makes.

What It's Like to Work With Us:

  1. You call. A real person answers, not a robot.
  2. We schedule. You pick a time that works, and we show up on time.
  3. We diagnose. No guesswork. We will find the issue and walk you through the fix.
  4. We repair or install. We come ready, with tools in hand.
  5. We clean up. You won’t find bits of wire or drywall on your floor.

Lake Worth Electrician FAQs

Absolutely. Every technician we send out is licensed, trained, and experienced. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

Sure, there are some things—like changing a lightbulb. But if it involves wiring, outlets, or breakers, it’s safer (and usually cheaper in the long run) to let us handle it.

Most service calls take under two hours. Bigger jobs, like rewiring or panel upgrades, take longer; we’ll give you a clear timeline upfront.

Yes. Lights out at 10 PM? We’re here. Sparks flying from your outlet? Call us, even on weekends.

Sure do—smart switches, thermostats, doorbells, and more. If you can connect it, we can wire it.
