I contacted Comfort Experts for their $49 A/C tune up special. Justin P arrived on time and explained in detail the scope of the inspection and services provided. Justin was very attentive as he not only listened to my questions but then answered all of them with great detail. Justin performed the inspection and cleaning of our A/C system and provided a very detailed assessment of his findings complete with detailed photos. I couldn’t have been happier with his work ethic and professionalism. If I were a business owner, he would be exactly the type of employee I would hope to hire! Excellent service, very knowledgeable, and a great attitude. Thank you Justin, I have found my new A/C service company moving forward!
Want to thank Michael for his quick response to my AC issues. Quick to diagnose the issues showed his expertise in ac repair. Explained everything needed that I easily understood to make the repairs at a reasonable price and had us up and running in a short period of time. Michael made me feel like family in the short period of time he was here which was just another reason why I will always use the services of Comfort Experts for my future AC repairs.
Colby was amazing with his service. He showed up in a timely manner and was very informative. Colby was able to detect the false trigger by the unit and was able to resolve our issues fairly quickly with little to no fuss. We would definitely recommend Colby to anyone.
Justin was on time and very polite. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain every aspect of the needed repairs. Cleaned my outer system and looks great.
Comfort Experts were great!
I noticed in late afternoon on a hot summer day (a Sunday no less) that the house was getting warmer, then noticed the AC wouldn't even kick on.
I called their after hours office line & they had someone out very quickly.
The technician, Garrett, was polite, knowledgeable & ensured I understood what was happening & what he needed to do throughout. I trusted what he was telling me based on my limited knowledge from hearing my dad's conversations (a former Heat & AC technician), no "single lady at the mechanic shop" shenanigans.
I will definitely be calling them again when the need arises in the future.
Cooper was amazing. He did a great job! He was very personable, professional, thorough and helpful explained all the work and processes. Both installs look and work great! Huge thank you.
Danny with Comfort Experts out of the Kennydale office was fantastic. He checked everything and replaced a part that was old and not working properly. I’ve been satisfied for years. I pay my monthly fee and have done so for years . It has paid for itself many times over.
Alex was friendly and professional. The crew was quiet and cleaned up very well after their work was done. All members of the crew were nice to my dogs. He explained all the work that was done, showed me pictures and explained why they moved from one size duct to another. When they left, he made sure I understood what work was done and insured that the house was clean. I would have that crew in my house again to make repairs.
Mark W & Hunter are courteous and professional. They repaired our AC and even took care of some maintenance to help prevent future issues. It's great to feel cool again! Many thanks to these fine gentlemen.
Nathan was amazing!! He came out to look at why my outlets weren’t working. He was very thorough and nice. He found out the outlet itself had gone bad and that was the problem. I declined to have him replace the outlet only because I know to replace it myself and the price was out of my range for something I can do on my own. Would definitely use them again in the future though.

When to Call an Electrician in Garland

There’s a fine line between “It’ll fix itself” and “We should’ve called someone yesterday.”

If you’re somewhere in that middle ground, here’s a list that’ll clear it up fast:

  1. Lights flicker often: It’s not your imagination but not just the bulb. Flickering usually means a wiring issue or a loose connection.
  2. Outlets stop working: If one plug dies, it might be the outlet. If a bunch of them go dark, your circuit’s calling for backup.
  3. Warm or buzzing outlets: That’s not just “weird”—dangerous. Electricity should stay silent and cool.
  4. Breakers trip often: If you’re resetting the same breaker every other day, something’s pulling more power than your system can handle.
  5. Old electrical panels: Homes built before 1990 often can’t keep up with modern appliances. Upgrades save time, money, and stress.
  6. Adding new appliances: New oven? Hot tub? Washer and dryer combo? You’ll want a pro to double-check your wiring and add circuits if needed.
  7. Strange smells: If something smells burnt but nothing’s on fire, your wiring might be heating up where you can’t see it.
  8. Sparks: No sparks should fly—ever, not from a plug, a switch, or your panel. That’s a same-day call.
  9. DIY rewiring gone sideways: No shame in trying. But sometimes, the best next step is to let the Electrical Genius take it from here.

Why Comfort Experts is the Home of the Electrical Genius

We didn’t give ourselves that title—our customers did. Over the years, we’ve earned trust by showing up ready, speaking plainly, and fixing what’s broken with zero guesswork. We don’t run through houses chasing problems. We find them. Fast.

One Garland family called us after a switch started sparking every time they turned it on. They’d had two electricians out, but the issue kept coming back. We traced it to an overloaded circuit on the other side of the house. Rewired the whole run and—poof—problem gone. They called us “lifesavers.” We just call that Tuesday.

Electricity Isn't a Guessing Game

You wouldn’t guess with gas or plumbing, so don’t roll the dice on your wiring, either. Electricity is fast, quiet, and unforgiving. We’ve seen too many preventable house fires to sugarcoat that.

But you don’t have to live with flickering bulbs or outdated panels. You don’t have to wonder if your home’s wiring is safe. You just need the right help.

At Comfort Experts, we’re the Home of the Electrical Genius in Garland for a reason. We’ve built our business on honest work, clear talk, and long-term fixes.

What It's Like to Work With Us:

  • We show up on time
  • We wear clean uniforms
  • We respect your space
  • We speak like real people, not walking instruction manuals
  • We give upfront pricing—no surprises
  • We don’t waste time

Our trucks stay stocked, so we can finish most jobs on the first visit. There is no back-and-forth, and there is no waiting for parts.

Garland Electrician FAQs

It can happen, but your system may need balancing or an upgrade if it happens often or dramatically.

Absolutely. We’ll make sure your panel can support it and handle the installation so it’s safe and reliable.

Every few years, especially if your home is over 20 years old or you’ve added new appliances or rooms.

Yes. They’re outdated and lack grounding, which makes them unsafe for modern electronics.

Maybe. But if your home has aluminum wiring or an old panel, or you’re unsure about your connections, call us. One mistake can cost more than the fix.
