Electricians in Farmers Branch, TX – Comfort Experts

Electricians in Farmers Branch need to do more than wire up outlets or flip breakers. At Comfort Experts, we step in when sparks fly, circuits fail, or lights flicker like they’re haunted. We bring skill, focus, and good old-fashioned respect to every home we enter. We’re the folks your neighbors call first, and we’ve earned our name as the Home of the Electrical Genius.

We’ve helped families who lost power halfway through movie night. We’ve rescued kitchens mid-renovation, rewired vintage homes without breaking a sweat, and even traced a “mystery buzz” in someone’s attic that turned out to be a bad panel ready to blow. That’s what we do. We show up, figure it out, and fix it fast.

Electricians
We have been in this house 25 years and comfort experts have serviced our furnace and hvac sence the very beginning. Mike was wonderful as expected. We have always had great service and he more than lived up to our expectations.
Daniel A. was courteous and professional while he worked today. He went above and beyond to help us understand the issue with our air unit. He worked quickly and quietly to assess the problem. Before he left, he made sure we understood the ways we could best maintain our air unit.
Danny was so great! He was very patient explaining all of our options helping us to resolve our problems with our upstairs ac unit. He got us up and running in less than 20 min with real solutions to resolve the issue. Very thankful for employees like Danny. Keep hiring people just like him and this will continue to be a growing and profitable business model. Thank you again
Tyler is an easy person to talk with. Very knowledgeable. He explained the maintenance plan to me which I purchased. He also installed a new breaker which was the reason that I called. It seems to me that you have a very professional business. Thank you.
Patrick Thompson
Mark did a great job on our heating tune-up. He replaced our filter and checked all the safety features. He was thorough, professional and friendly. Highly recommend!!
Toby is the best, most respectful and knowledgeable advisor we have ever had. If you need heating or air, he is your guy! Thank you Comfort Experts for hiring amazing employees.
Jeremy came by to check out our AC and we ended up needing a whole new unit. He took the time to walk us through all the options and got us such a good deal that we couldn’t say no. He was awesome to work with and made the whole process super easy. If you need a new AC, Jeremy is the one to call!
Mark D and Tyler B were very professional and knowledgeable. My electric bill had jumped and I knew something had been going on with the outside unit sounding bad. Mark explained what happened and got me fixed right away.
Thanks for the great service!
Michael and Alonso came out to assess our AC which had stopped cooling in the upstairs for about a week and turns out the "return duct" had some damage of the metal ring that goes around to I guess keep it secure and hold its cylinder shape. It's impossible to know when or how it got damaged whether by the installers or the duct cleaners we had in earlier this year. Although they weren't able to fix the issue, they were able to identify the problem and get me scheduled for their Expert to come out the next day to fully assess. They were professional, seemed knowledgeable and quick to complete the assessment and get me on the schedule.
I've owned my house for about five years now, and have trusted Comfort Experts to do much of the repair and maintenance work on it, with outstanding results.

But nothing compared to the scope of my most recent project, a partial re-plumbing of all the fast-deteriorating (and close to breaking) galvanized pipe running throughout my 1920s house – most of which was creatively installed in bizarre ways, many years ago.

So of course, Comfort Experts was my first call.

And I'm incredibly glad it was, because as challenge after challenge was uncovered, the Comfort Expert team worked through and overcame each of them – from an oddly-placed waterline, to the excavation and installation of a new water main through a yard filled with rock and tree roots (shout-out to C&R Excavation!), to reaching barely-accessible areas of the crawl space under the house to replace difficult-to-reach pipes. Etc.

It was a true team effort, and the Comfort Experts technicians handled everything in stride with determination, patience and professionalism.

Tyler B. – only two weeks into his role at the time – was already insulating pipes, navigating the crawl space, and digging holes like he'd been on the job for months.

Zach answered the call when he was needed; squeezing into ridiculously small spaces to access areas otherwise impossible to reach.

Daniel was with me every step of the way, and I was less anxious about the entire project knowing that it was in his very capable hands. He confidently navigated each unforeseen issue – and there were many – while patiently answering my questions and constantly troubleshooting issues with the team.

And then there was Mark W., who was everywhere and seemingly capable of doing everything. He was in the attic running a new drain line for my HVAC. He was under the house installing new pipe. He was hopping into holes with a jackhammer to assist the excavation team. He had a tool for everything, and an answer to every question, and his high standards for excellence – for his own work and that of his team – also gave me great peace of mind.

What started out as a seemingly simple project ended up taking a full 3.5 days – but I am so grateful that Comfort Experts got it done, and was able to do it right. My 100-year old house will stay standing a little while longer thanks to them!

When to Call an Electrician in Farmers Branch

Electric issues don’t always wave red flags. But if something feels off, trust your gut.

Here are some clear signs it’s time to give us a call:

  1. Circuit Breakers Keep Tripping: If your breaker flips more than your pancakes, something’s wrong. A single trip now and then is fine. Repeated trips? Call us.
  2. Flickering Lights: If your lights flicker whenever you plug in the vacuum or microwave dinner, that’s a load imbalance or bad wiring. We’ll sort it out.
  3. Burning Smells from Outlets: That smell isn’t your toaster. It’s heat building up from loose wires or a failing socket. Shut off the power and give us a shout.
  4. Warm or Discolored Switch Plates: Your light switches shouldn’t feel like a heating pad. Warm plates or dark stains usually mean a deeper issue in the wiring.
  5. Buzzing Sounds in the Walls: Electricity should be silent. If you hear buzzing, humming, or crackling, we’ll dig in and stop it before it becomes dangerous.
  6. Old Electrical Panels: Still rocking a fuse box from the 60s? Let us modernize it. Today’s appliances draw more power, and your panel needs to keep up.
  7. No Power in One Part of the House: If half your home loses power while the other half is fine, that’s not a coincidence. It’s time to trace the fault and get everything back online.
  8. You’re Installing a New Appliance: Big purchases like a hot tub, EV charger, or new range need proper wiring. Let our Electrical Genius team get it done right.
  9. Too Few Outlets: Relying on extension cords like it’s a wiring jungle isn’t safe. We’ll add outlets where you need them—no hassle.
  10. You’re Remodeling: We’ll rework your electrical system to match if you’re tearing down walls or building an addition. No cutting corners, no halfway jobs.

What Makes Comfort Experts Different?

We’re not a one-size-fits-all operation. We listen, explain, and take pride in our work.

We once received a call from a young couple who had just moved into their first home in Farmers Branch. They were excited—until every light in the back half of the house went out one night. One of our electricians showed up within the hour, traced the problem to a fried subpanel, and had them up and running before bedtime. We treat every job like that—no shortcuts, no runaround.

When you call Comfort Experts, you’re calling the Home of the Electrical Genius—people who know what they’re doing and care how you’re treated.

A Real Fix From a Real Call

We once had a call from a family. Their lights dimmed every time the microwave kicked on, and the dryer tripped the breaker like clockwork. Another company told them to “use less power.” That’s not a solution.

We took a look and found that their panel hadn’t been touched since 1984. We upgraded it, split the circuits correctly, and added a dedicated line for the dryer. Problem solved. No more power juggling, no more flickers, just a home that works the way it should.

Here's How Our Visits Usually Go

  2. We Set a Time—And Stick to It. No vague windows. We respect your schedule.
  3. We Listen First. You know your home better than anyone. We hear you out before we break out the tools.
  4. We Diagnose Quickly. We don’t poke around just to rack up hours. We find the issue and explain it clearly.
  5. We Give You Options. You’re in control. We’ll lay it all out upfront with flat-rate pricing.
  6. We Get to Work. We fix what needs fixing, clean up after ourselves, and test everything before we leave.
  7. We Follow Up. Because we want to make sure it stays fixed.
