Electricians in Glenn Heights, TX – Comfort Experts: Home of the Electrical Genius

Electricians in Glenn Heights should do more than flip a few switches and hope for the best. At Comfort Experts, we take pride in solving electrical problems with skill, speed, and zero guesswork. Folks around here call us the Home of the Electrical Genius because we know what we’re doing and show up ready to get things working again.

Let’s be honest. Electrical problems rarely show themselves at a convenient time. Your breaker might trip while you’re cooking dinner. The hallway light could flicker during a storm. Or that one outlet has never worked, and you’ve just learned to live without it. But that’s no way to live. If your home’s power feels off, it probably is.

Jeremy came by to check out our AC and we ended up needing a whole new unit. He took the time to walk us through all the options and got us such a good deal that we couldn’t say no. He was awesome to work with and made the whole process super easy. If you need a new AC, Jeremy is the one to call!
Mark D and Tyler B were very professional and knowledgeable. My electric bill had jumped and I knew something had been going on with the outside unit sounding bad. Mark explained what happened and got me fixed right away.
Thanks for the great service!
Michael and Alonso came out to assess our AC which had stopped cooling in the upstairs for about a week and turns out the "return duct" had some damage of the metal ring that goes around to I guess keep it secure and hold its cylinder shape. It's impossible to know when or how it got damaged whether by the installers or the duct cleaners we had in earlier this year. Although they weren't able to fix the issue, they were able to identify the problem and get me scheduled for their Expert to come out the next day to fully assess. They were professional, seemed knowledgeable and quick to complete the assessment and get me on the schedule.
I've owned my house for about five years now, and have trusted Comfort Experts to do much of the repair and maintenance work on it, with outstanding results.

But nothing compared to the scope of my most recent project, a partial re-plumbing of all the fast-deteriorating (and close to breaking) galvanized pipe running throughout my 1920s house – most of which was creatively installed in bizarre ways, many years ago.

So of course, Comfort Experts was my first call.

And I'm incredibly glad it was, because as challenge after challenge was uncovered, the Comfort Expert team worked through and overcame each of them – from an oddly-placed waterline, to the excavation and installation of a new water main through a yard filled with rock and tree roots (shout-out to C&R Excavation!), to reaching barely-accessible areas of the crawl space under the house to replace difficult-to-reach pipes. Etc.

It was a true team effort, and the Comfort Experts technicians handled everything in stride with determination, patience and professionalism.

Tyler B. – only two weeks into his role at the time – was already insulating pipes, navigating the crawl space, and digging holes like he'd been on the job for months.

Zach answered the call when he was needed; squeezing into ridiculously small spaces to access areas otherwise impossible to reach.

Daniel was with me every step of the way, and I was less anxious about the entire project knowing that it was in his very capable hands. He confidently navigated each unforeseen issue – and there were many – while patiently answering my questions and constantly troubleshooting issues with the team.

And then there was Mark W., who was everywhere and seemingly capable of doing everything. He was in the attic running a new drain line for my HVAC. He was under the house installing new pipe. He was hopping into holes with a jackhammer to assist the excavation team. He had a tool for everything, and an answer to every question, and his high standards for excellence – for his own work and that of his team – also gave me great peace of mind.

What started out as a seemingly simple project ended up taking a full 3.5 days – but I am so grateful that Comfort Experts got it done, and was able to do it right. My 100-year old house will stay standing a little while longer thanks to them!
Zak came the same day and was very professional and informative about the issues we had with our AC unit. Even though we fixed our problem without needing to use the services recommended...I still do recommend Comfort Experts(Zak L) for coming out and being patient. In the future I will contact Comfort Experts if needed Thank you
Adam did a great job replacing our aging water heater. He was quick and efficient and answered all our questions thoroughly. He gave us a tutorial when he was finished and made sure we understood all the components. Now we have greater peace of mind!
Adam did such a great job installing our new water heater today. He was very quick, very efficient, and he took great care to show us all about each component. He answered all our questions and gave us a great tutorial when he was finished. Zach also was a great helper, because that old water heater was HEAVY!! Adam is another reason we stay with Hobson Comfort Experts. Highly recommend!!
Cooper not only repaired the major issue, he made sure to address anything he could during initial inspection. Gramps (100yrs this year) really needed that snake treatment for his toilet, and I am so happy to have a free-flowing home again!!
Alex and Kealan did an amazing job on my mini split install. Thank y'all so much for your attention to detail and excellent workmanship. If you are getting anything installed by Comfort Experts, know that you will be taken care of.
Professional, knowledgeable, and arrived within timeframe given. I appreciated using their friendly service from the first phone call to receiving this survey. I was able to clearly understand all the steps needed to getting my AC to perform at its best. Yes, I would recommend and use them again.

When to Call an Electrician in Glenn Heights

Some problems are loud. Others are silent.

Either way, here’s a solid list of when it’s time to pick up the phone and call our Electrical Genius team:

  1. Lights flickering or dimming: It might start with one bulb. But if it spreads, the problem runs deeper than the fixture.
  2. Outlets feel warm or spark: Electricity should never feel hot or make noise. That’s a safety issue.
  3. Breaker trips repeatedly: If resetting the same breaker repeatedly, something pulls more power than it should.
  4. You smell something burning: This one’s big. Don’t shrug it off—call us immediately.
  5. You use extension cords like furniture: Your house is telling you it needs more outlets or updated circuits.
  6. You’ve got two-pronged outlets: No ground wire. Not safe for today’s tech.
  7. You hear buzzing from a switch or outlet: That’s not background noise—it’s a warning that something’s loose or arcing.
  8. Your home is older than 30 years: Many older homes weren’t built for today’s power needs.
  9. You’re adding new appliances or remodeling: You’ll need wiring to keep up—and meet code.
  10. Your panel is outdated: Fuse boxes or panels that use Zinsco or Federal Pacific brands? Time to upgrade.

Why They Call Us the Electrical Genius

It’s not just a name. It’s the way we work. We come prepared. We don’t waste your time with guesswork. We don’t “hope” we found the issue—we know we did. Our trucks stay stocked, our crew stays sharp, and our results speak for themselves.

We received one call from a Glenn Heights family whose kitchen lights dimmed every time the microwave ran. Two other electricians had already tried patch jobs. We dug into the panel, found the overloaded circuit, rewired the affected lines, and balanced the load properly. The lights stayed steady, and the microwave stopped hogging the power. No more band-aids—just a real fix.

A Real Fix From a Real Call

We once had a call from a family. Their lights dimmed every time the microwave kicked on, and the dryer tripped the breaker like clockwork. Another company told them to “use less power.” That’s not a solution.

We took a look and found that their panel hadn’t been touched since 1984. We upgraded it, split the circuits correctly, and added a dedicated line for the dryer. Problem solved. No more power juggling, no more flickers, just a home that works the way it should.

What It's Like to Work With Us:

  1. You call. A real person answers, not a robot.
  2. We schedule. You pick a time that works, and we show up on time.
  3. We diagnose. No guesswork. We will find the issue and walk you through the fix.
  4. We repair or install. We come ready, with tools in hand.
  5. We clean up. You won’t find bits of wire or drywall on your floor.

Glenn Heights Electrician FAQs

Yes. Flickering can mean anything from a loose bulb to a loose wire inside your walls. We’ll find it fast.

It can. Panels older than 30 years may not be able to support your home’s energy needs, and some brands also have known safety issues.

You can try, but call us if the fan is wobbling, buzzing, or causing the breaker to trip. We’ll make sure it’s wired and mounted correctly.

They are used anywhere there is water—in the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, garage, and outdoor spaces. They help prevent shocks and meet the code.

If you constantly trip breakers or run multiple appliances off one outlet, your panel might be maxed out. We can take a look.

One Last Thing

Electricity isn’t the place to cut corners. If something’s buzzing, sparking, or just seems off, don’t wait. We’ve seen minor issues turn into real damage, and we’ve also seen how one call can fix the problem before it gets worse.

So, if your wiring is acting up, your lights are flickering, or your panel is older than your fridge, call us today. Let’s get your home powered the right way.
